Superb private location, with an amazing view of the lake, impeccable service from every member of staff and an excellent restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.
We did the wine tasting which was a highlight thanks to the knowledgeable sommelier who answered all our questions and provided a great insight into the huge range of wines that we didn’t realise existed.

While the town of Bled was very busy with travelers, the surrounding nature was exquisite! Walking around Lake Bled, visiting Vintgar Gorge, and all the wonderful hikes in the Lake Bohinj area - just spectacular. We also found that every meal we had was a good one, if a little on the pricier side.

Bled, Slovenia, is a picturesque gem that truly captivates the heart. Nestled by the stunning Lake Bled, the town boasts breathtaking scenery that feels almost otherworldly. The shimmering lake, with its emerald-green waters, is crowned by the majestic Bled Castle perched atop a steep cliff, offering panoramic views. A serene 'pletana' boat ride to the enchanting island at the lake's center, home to the charming Church of the Mother of God, is an absolute must. The lakeside is lined with delightful cafes and restaurants, where you can savour delicious local cuisine while soaking in the beauty of your surroundings. Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there.
Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there. Did the gorge walk which was absolutely amazing and again, well worth the effort. Of course, you have to pay for everything which put us off doing some attraction (seen one castle in Europe you’ve seen them all sort of thing) but we’d definitely go again

Gorgeous lake which could be walked around in about 2 hours. Felt very safe. Friendly, helpful people in shops and restaurants.
I would definitely avoid high season as the word seems to have spread about its beauty! They are planning a new road which will hopefully help in a few years.
It’s a place we have love and returned to regularly for nearly 20 years! Beautiful in winter too.

Stunning view. Several hikes available around the lake. Good as a base for day-trips. But day-trips require a car (except for Vintgar Corge which is accessible by a convenient shuttle). Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot with plenty to occupy your time for several days. Must sees are the Bled Castle, visit to the Island and a walk around the lake. If walk is too much (around 6 km) there is electric train that will take you for the full or part of that scenic walk.
For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks and hikes off the lake and beyond.
The hotel exceeded our expectations - Super cosy, exceptionally clean, fantastic room with a brilliant bathroom (great air con, smart tv and fridge), very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful location and surroundings, awsome facilities including an indoor 'self service'' bar, outdoor table tennis and workout area and small swimming pool. Bikes were available to hire and the hotel was a 15 minute ride into the centre of Bled and the lake, or 5 minutes in the car (there was also ample free parking). All in all, outstanding!
I can only recommend that place.
Its very good location, just ca. 10 min to lake. I really liked its not huge hotel, but give you more private feeling.
I got very big room with very comfortable bed.
Breakfast is organized pretty good and you get can scrambles eggs done based on your order and not just heat up.
Communication with House is easy and they respond on Booking.com pretty fast.
I arrived to Bled pretty early, yet i was very lucky to be able to check-in ealier. That really saved me a lot of time.
One of the hotels that offer a view of Lake Bled and it was worth it. The room I had was great. The bed is comfortable, the TV is of high quality and the bathroom is modern and clean. There are boat trips in front of the hotel that will take you to the island at the middle of the lake. Their restaurant is also good. Breakfast buffet was okay. There are not so many food options within the area so plan accordingly for your meals. Also take note that it is quite a walk if you go down at Bled Bus Station.
amazing staff. Our view was superb (the lovely ladies who checked us in even moved our room for us so we had a better view, since that was really important to me.) Breakfast was gorgeous. Private swimming area was amazing. I wish i could stay forever. Had the best massage in my whole life. I loved the location--it was in a quieter area of the lake. You get free boat renal as well, and parking. Once you add up the amenities, it's actually a really good value. Interesting history of the hotel as well!
The location was perfect, the room was warm. The staff were very nice.
It is not really a 4 star hotel, but we had read the reviews before booking the room and our expectations were quite met.
It was the cheapest for the comfort it offers close the Bled Lake and to the other mountain attractions. At a similar price (62 euros) you can find very basic rooms in other properties. The property would need some renovation, but all in all, everything was functional and clean.
The apartment was very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. The shower was very big. The breakfast was so good and reach! They took it in our room after our call. The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. The apartment is 5 minutes walking from the lake and have a convenient parking. We had half board and the dinner was 1 minute walk from the apartment. We highly recommend Aparthotel Gaja in Bled!!
We were amazed by the place. First of all, the stuff was super helpful with late arrival - since we arrived after 11 PM, they left us very clear instructions, there was also online check-in, so everything was arranged perfectly.
Secondly, the room was absolutely stunning. Furniture was made of wood as most of the hotel, and it was lovely. It was also very quiet in the room, and the location was great, just few min from the Bled lake.
Location: very good, close proximity to lake Bled, bus stop and parks. Amazing view to the lake if you choose the right room.
Hotel Restaurant: they have some amazing dish you should try. Having a good restaurant in close proximity (within the same hotel) makes it very easy.
Easy access to parks and town from the hotel by walk / bus / car. You can also rent a bike within the hotel and go around the place.
The hotel is located in the centre of Bled, 5 minutes from the lake.
The hotel is modern and renovated.
The room was very comfortable, including the beds and also includes air conditioning unit (important for hot days).
The swimming pool and the sauna zone is great option for a hot day as we had.
The breakfast was delicious and a wide of tasty food was offered.
Highly recommended!
Location was perfect, top of a hill overlooking Lake Bled. There's a Mercator convenience store at the bottom of the hill which is also a stop for the Tourist train and you can ride the paddle boats over to the island. The owner, Mme Antonia, was wonderful and so attentive and caring. Her late husband built the entire estate. It is a lovely "typical Slovenian Sobe" lodge.
The surrandings were very beautiful, Bled is one of our favourite places. The hotel is very modern, elegant, the breakfast is tasty and the selection is wide. The dinner became quite expensive in last two years. (from 15 to 35 EUR/Person) But the dinner worths it. The suite has a spectacular view for the lake, castle, island, and the church.
The whole organization of the stay is on the top-notch level. Picking up the keys is quite easy, the apartment we were in - Grad - was super clean and comfortable. The heating is absolutely great. The view and a short walk to the lake Bled make everything even more enjoyable. All in all, one of the best private accommodations ever.
Location is wonderful. Two minute walk to: the lake, the hotel's other restaurant (Old Cellar -fantastic), and e-bike rentals. Hotel is gorgeous with a fantastic covered, outdoor dining area. The buffet breakfast was great as well. I could see Bled Castle from my room's windows, even the shower window. Highly recommend!
The location is very good with a 10 minute walk to Lake Bled. The Hotel property is absolutely gorgeous with a beer garden and sun area. Breakfast was super with eggs to order. Parking is on property. They also offer a laundry service. Really cant say enough about how nice it was.
Lovely Vila Bled is unique - totalitarian chic, a grand hotel in an old fashioned way. Wonderful location, spacious rooms, with a massive terrace, dated but resplendent, great row boats to row on the lake, good food, excellent hot-tub, and a great massage.
The breakfast was amazing, the staff were really helpful. The view and location is the best - over looking the lake. It goes without saying, the Original Bled cream cake is made here so you MUST eat it here - don’t look anywhere else.
staff were friendly, breakfast was very delicious, the view was breathtaking we could see lake bled from our balcony, the location is perfect. The hotel was very close to lots of cafes and shops.
Incredible hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location to Lake Bled. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Amazing balcony with view of Lake Bled. Great amenities. Wonderful breakfast.
Very original interior of the hotel (a mix of classic and modern). Comfortable and cosy. Free parking in front. Quiet location within 5 min walking distance to lake Bled.
