Unique surroundings. An interesting small castle and a very well maintained castle yard. We stayed in a renovated wooden building (belonged to the chauffeur in the past) near the castle. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped. The adjustable motorized beds were extra comfortable.

A lovely, friendly lady greeted us and booked us in. It's an unusual place and really wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable, and all the facilities were super, as well as a lovely continental breakfast and delicious coffee. There was no food served in the evening, but we were directed to a restaurant in the nearby town just a few minutes' drive away, which was good and reasonably priced.
