The host (mother, son and staff) is very obliging and friendly. You get a very warm welcome and everything you need, even if you arrive one hour early 😉. There is no garage to put the bicycle, but a very nice backyard where you and your bike can stay in peace. We booked the apartment deluxe - nice living room and direct access to the garden via a small porch. Most comfortable and beautiful!

The hotel is in a beautiful location and has wonderful staff. The deluxe double room has great sunset views across the harbour. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. It was a bonus to have a lift to all floors. It helps with safe transfer of people and luggage.
The restaurant serves delicious food and there is plenty of choice if you stay a few days.
The breakfast is self-service with lots of breads, meats, salad, fruit, yoghurt, juices, tea, and coffee.
The owners are very kind, and it is clear that they want their guests to have the best time.
This traditional, countryside hotel is in the Öland village of Kastlösa, 200 metres from Stora Alvaret’s limestone plain, a World Heritage site. It provides 2 free outdoor pools and a large garden.

This hotel is definitely a gem of Öland. Very cosy, spacious and tidy room, great shared space with well-equipped kitchen.
The personnel is super friendly. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant with traditional dishes cooked according to the recipe of the owner's family. A cold bottle of prosecco was delicious too.
The breakfast was tasty and the restaurant is lovely.

room was nicely renovated except for the bathroom but this was very functional and spacious. pool was very nice to get into after the long hike and a shower ;)
staff was very nice and the upgrade from vandarahem to hotel worth it.
A very dog friendly hotel, with both access to the forest and a nearby beach. We got free entrance to the spa as summer guests. Shadow parking was available, so that our dog could wait in the car while we ate or enjoyed the spa. We also tried the restaurant and it was very good. There was no surcharge for the dog staying.

the location is fine, a quiet and calm place, close to the water but it's a shame that the hotel doesn't have the access to the water/sea.
The indoor pool and the adjacent gym were amazing. Thr staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms have a certain age but overall I can recommend this hotel for a stay over.
