I had the feeling I was staying in a mountain lodge by a lake far up in the Swedish high country. Beautiful setting with good food and drinks in the restaurant.

I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Åberg.
I liked that I was able to check in the room myself late on the first evening.
When I first arrived, I was a bit worried because the hotel looks quite outdated and the walls are very thin so I could hear other guests.
However, everything seemed to go quiet after 22:30 every evening and I've only heard one of the other guests' alarm clock one morning, so I had some really good nights.
The beds were comfortable, the duvet perfect for the weather and everything was very clean. The old shower had plenty of flow and equipped with thermostatic valve so showers were excellent.
The breakfast buffet had various choices of quality food, the bread was freshly cooked and the coffee was great.
This hotel completely makes up for the lack of luxury and I will happily recommend it to my colleagues.
