Beautiful antique furnishings in spacious and clean rooms, located on the nicest street in Östersund. Welcoming and attentive host who quickly answered our every question and made sure everything was to our liking. All day free fika in the parlour was a nice treat! You get the feeling that this is a spa hotel as soon as you enter the lobby. Soft light, soft music, the scent. It's all a part of the spa experience.
The spa on the fourth floor is cozy, comfortable, relaxing and the bar has refreshments like fruit, cakes, ice cream, salads and a full bar. Floating around in the heated, outside pool in the rain is something everyone should experience. We visit once a year for a mother-daughter trip and look forward to our next stay as soon as we come home.

I went away for a nice quiet trip for my birthday and to escape the chaos of London and that’s what I got. Östersund is a beautiful and quiet place to stay. I will definitely be coming back, I can’t wait to try the Swedish summer. Wayne’s coffee shop was n enjoyable place to stop and have some lunch.

Fantastic hotel in an old theater. Location - amazing - located in a city center next to the bus stations, 500 m down the hill to the train station, an old theater felling - amazing. Worth to mention is a smart way of serving the breakfast in the box if you leave earlier - you fill questionnaire a day before with your preferences helping to not waste food you don't need. Comparing to other hotels we visited - a very good internet connection.
I arrived very early (7am) but Maria gave me a door code to enter so I could drop off my bags and then texted me as soon as my room was ready (around midday, well before the official check-in time). Hotel is more of a Bed & Breakfast but it's in a beautful house, with lovely furniture right in the centre of Ostersund on a quiet pedestrianized street. It's only 10 minutes walk from the railway station.
Close to the city center, beautiful building, nice view over the city and onto Frösön. own bathroom wasn't extraordinary but totally fine. Kitchen was big, clean and had a lot of appliances etc. Check in on a Saturday without staff worked perfectly and could easily extend my stay. Definitely have had worse beds in Hostels so all good.

And what ever question I had considering my staying, staff were always answering the phone even on Christmas Day and New Year and at other hotels from my experience whenever I call on the phone there is an automatic machine answering.
Hotel is located in the center of the city. Room is clean, bright and well furnished. Bathroom is equipped with good skincare products. Breakfast is delicious and varied. It was nice to find coffee and small croissants on the reception for all guests.
Convenient to everything including walks beside the lake. Great food options just around the corner and full spa facilities if you chose to use it. Parking behind the hotel was really excellent too, especially for a multi-night stay.

Really big room in a very nice and cosy hotel. Well located in one of the main streets, close to a lot of restaurants. Easy to find some cheap parking spots around for our car.
