I enjoyed Jord restaurant the most.. I'd always come back to this place.. I have such beautiful memories with this place.. Love Sweden.

Nice city. Go watch three times national champions Linköping FC play football, if you have the time. The former club of Pernille Harder, Magdalena Eriksson, Kosovare Asslani and Lina Hurtig among others. Watch the stars of tomorrow!

This city is just the right size for a "home vacation"...
This city is just the right size for a "home vacation" stayover: great bars and restaurants and plenty of sights and activities, but small enough to avoid flooding by tourists. The Air Force museum is a must, and there are plenty of parks for picnics and people-spotting. Also, you can kayak down the main stream or try the cable wakeboard facility. The Valla open air museum offers both rural scenery and curious museums.

Stora torget has a good ambiance with bars, restaurants and people. Cozy cafeteries, shops... The cathedral is also beautiful.
The city has plenty of gardens, to see, walk and enjoy nature. I specially liked Vallaskogen Naturreservat.
The Friluftsmuseet Gamla Linköping is great! An open air museum with a collection of houses, gardens and shops showing the Swedish life a hundred years ago.

Linkoping city, its roads, buildings, parks everything is very clean. One can easy find and approach nearby shops, hotels and parking. Bus and train terminals are also easily accessible. A wonderful city to visit and stay.
My experience in this hotel was perfect, the breakfast is really complete. The little snacks and sandwichs they sell at the reception was really good. The all staff was really nice and efficient in their job. The reception staff were incredibly nice to me and helped me as a foreigner just arriving in sweden to get used to things here. Special thanks to Nellie, Olivia, Maja, and Victor that were really friendly and helped me a lot.
The hotel is located in Gamla Linköping, an open-air museum to show how the Swedish lived in the old times. It is close to the University of Linköping (about a 20-30 min walk), and you must pass through a forest. It is worth staying here if you like rural style, nature, and scenes like a TV drama.
The decoration in the room is also adorable. very Nordic country style.
We booked the hotel last minute, as we had to stay somewhere while driving through Linkoping. We liked the room - it was clean, and spacious (so we could put the travelling bed for the baby), the bed was very comfy and big (the baby could sleep with us).We didn't see any hotel staff at all but all the info was provided via email in a nice and timely manner.
The breakfast is nice; it has a rather large selections for both cold and warm food. You have to pay extra for the garage but the garage is right under the hotel, which can be accessed via elevator directly. The hotel is very close to the city center, e.g. the Linköping Cathedral. The hotel staffs are very friendly.
Lovely hotel with so many amenities included. Lady on reception was amazing and helped us out with our bags and got one of our rooms ready so we didn’t miss the same. The room had a fan so was confortable to sleep with the heat and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was included and was really nice.
Nice, helpful receptionist, helped us to check-in before 3 pm since the room was already ready.

There was a car charging possibility, although it is only one spot, but it was beside the hotel. (Note that it is not owned by the hotel).
Really nicely decorated boutique hotel with good breakfast and all day free coffee/tea/hot chocolate and even some pastries when I was there (seemingly not every day though). Good location when traveling and easy walking distance to all restaurants and services in the centre.
I love the Clarion Slottsparken - I work every year in Sweden, for a week, and always stay at the hotel. It's my absolute favorite - friendly people, great location, and the food (breakfast AND evening meal) is top notch. Highly recommended.
It is not a hotel but a Bed and breakfast place from British standards That too very small and tired one .only good thing about this hotel is its location near that central station . Reception closes at 9PM . Hard bedding. Poor breakfast
