In kitchen we found all of necessary things to prepare food selv. Clean kitchen, beds. Lot of different tourist information about Kristinesand and areas around.
Situated 500 metres from Lake Vänern, this property is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Kristinehamn’s town centre. It offers hostel accommodation close to nature and several sporting facilities.

The location is perfect if you are travelling by car. Plenty of free parking in the area.
The building was the barracs built for the soldiers of the Infantry regiment I2 when they were moved from Karlstad to the Artillery A9 location in Kristinehamn to form the Brigade of Värmland.
And here lies part of the appeal to me, as I did my mandatory militsry service at A9. The interior still bears a close resemblance to when the buildings were used by the military.
There is still essy accesd to the military training grounds with tracks for running on the woods behind the buildings.
The archipelsgo area close by is worth a visit, if nothing else to wstch the statue made by Picasso.

This is a 'quirky' hotel in so far it's an old 'vicarage' house which has been converted. We had a room off the reception room, which meant you may bump into people as you opened your door and walked out. Our teenagers were in a summerhouse in the garden, which had its own ensuite, single beds and tv. They were happy there and did not hear the main road on the other side. Dinner was amazing and the owner/chef explained all the ingredients that went into it in English. Breakfast was also tasty with a wide range of food.
Everything was perfect. The hotel is perfectly located very near the station, in a small and quiet park. The room was super clean, very comfortable bed, seating area with table, perfect Wifi and TV, and Soundproof, which is exceptional!
Good equipments: even cotton swabs are foreseen :)
There is a lounge downstairs with free coffee & tea and nice seats. The staff is very friendly and helpful and some are even multilingual.
Easy to check in. Quiet property with beautiful views of the forest. The property was awesome! Very clean and tidy, the beds were so comfortable and the evenings were quiet and peaceful. We’ve stayed in a lot of various hotels, apartments and cabins and can honestly say the missionshus was by far the most comfortable and best rental place we’ve stayed at! Would definitely book again if in the area!
Nice small hotel in a former church with good parking and tasteful interior within the hotel. The town Kristinehamn is very quiet outside the summer season. A tasty restaurant nearby is Oliveriet (Italian Cuisine, reservation needed).
The hotel was perfectly fine nice sized room, clean, the location is nice, in a residential area, with a nice woods on the back.

Location in relation to the town as excellent. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Breakfast was a true smorgasbord. Hotel is a lovely old building. Ate in the bar/restaurant and their food was delicious.
The room is big and so is the bathroom. Nice condition and everything clean, except from the floor....
