Location on the Kattegatleden, opposite train station and a short walk into the town centre, so very convenient. Excellent welcome and very accommodating about bike storage - a locked basement. Our room was small, but we knew that when booking, however every facility was carefully located within it. Breakfast was excellent. It was a very good value stay for us.

The ProfilHotels-Halmstad Plaza is beautiful, clean with professional friendly staff who provide exceptional service. The rooms & bathrooms are modern, a good size with very comfortable high quality bedding. The buffet breakfast, premier lounge & dining room offer the best breakfast I have experienced & tasty food selections. This is The Hotel to stay in Halmstad Sweden, conveniently located across from the bus & train stations that offer fast transit without any noise at the hotel. Buy the Bus/Train pass. Avoid Taxis as many cheat passengers.

A wonderful town, I recommend visiting the nearby town of Tylösand, where there is an amazing big beach. From Halmstad you can walk along the Prins Bertils stig path around the sea, or by bike, the ubiquitous cycle paths will delight every cyclist.

You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train...
You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train station to the hotel. There is a lift AT the station bringing you to a bridge above the railway. Once upstairs you just cross the bridge, takt the lift down and you have the hotel across the street. The hotel is also exactly in front of the bus station - to take a bus you just have to cross the road.
The city center is at about 6-7 minutes walking distance. You have a beautiful walking path on the river die thst takes you yo the beach, atound 3 km away from the city centre.
There is a big supermarket open until 9 p.m., 700 m from the hotel.
The hotel stuff is very gentle and helpful, also if you're looking for that fifferent kind of shop or bar to visit. There are lot's of quite hidden gems in the city, with such nice cafés and restaurants in quiet, little backyards. You just have to walk in and look for what's inside, whenever you see an entrance.
The pieces of art in the city centre and at the river and in the library are also very interesting, as it is the library itself.
The symbol of the city has 3 hearts. You see them all over the city and feel the heartfelt atmosphere everywhere you go.

A nice little Swedish city with a Picasso statue and many small sights to see. You do not have to stay many days as everything is close by and can be seen quickly. Peaceful place at day, gets crazy at night as the Swedes like to party.

The out door museum of 18th century homes, barns, saw mill, wind mill and more was unusual and well dome with good labeling in English and in Braille. Imagine that!
A little hard to find but follow the signs for the hospital and up on the hill overlooking Halmstad.
Nice quiet hotel in the city center. little bit old but clean and all ok . hotel worker ( maybe owner) spying on you in the night …. Sweden became Arabic county ( a single woman is a bad woman) ha ha but it’s was funny, when u come back from bar and hotel worker directly jumped out from his room.. So girls please note that :))
Very calm and beautiful nature around the hotel. Great for walking or running. The castle looks good from the outside with a big garden.
Breakfast is very tasty and fresh and everything seems to be locally produced.
Tylösand beach is just 15 minutes by car and Halmstad city 10 minutes.
Great potential for the property.
Breakfast was very well chosen and offered more than one can think of. We made frequent use of the sauna with temperatures outside getting lower in Oct - it was a nice and quiet place to relax and recharge batteries. There is also a gym nearby which can be used by the hotel guests.
The hotel employees were super friendly and welcoming. We had two medium seized dogs with us and they were very welcoming of them too including some cookies and a towel to whipe clean their paws. I can recommand this hotel to everybody who needs to stay over night and has dogs!
The breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of warm and cold dishes, different juices, smoothies, Ginger shots, cereals etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in central Halmstad with parking close nearby.
The location is outstanding. The hotel is little out of the way, but well worth it when you get there. It has new owners and they did everything that was asked. We wish them well for the future
