Our studio had everything we could wish for. Like a oven, microwave, stove, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, water kettle, great shower, good beds and a balcony.

Location on the Kattegatleden, opposite train station and a short walk into the town centre, so very convenient. Excellent welcome and very accommodating about bike storage - a locked basement. Our room was small, but we knew that when booking, however every facility was carefully located within it. Breakfast was excellent. It was a very good value stay for us.

This is The Hotel to stay in Halmstad Sweden, conveniently located across from the bus & train stations that offer fast transit without any noise at the hotel. Buy the Bus/Train pass. Avoid Taxis as many cheat passengers.

A wonderful town, I recommend visiting the nearby town of Tylösand, where there is an amazing big beach. From Halmstad you can walk along the Prins Bertils stig path around the sea, or by bike, the ubiquitous cycle paths will delight every cyclist.

You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train...
You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train station to the hotel. There is a lift AT the station bringing you to a bridge above the railway. Once upstairs you just cross the bridge, takt the lift down and you have the hotel across the street. The hotel is also exactly in front of the bus station - to take a bus you just have to cross the road.
The city center is at about 6-7 minutes walking distance. You have a beautiful walking path on the river die thst takes you yo the beach, atound 3 km away from the city centre.
There is a big supermarket open until 9 p.m., 700 m from the hotel.
The hotel stuff is very gentle and helpful, also if you're looking for that fifferent kind of shop or bar to visit. There are lot's of quite hidden gems in the city, with such nice cafés and restaurants in quiet, little backyards. You just have to walk in and look for what's inside, whenever you see an entrance.
The pieces of art in the city centre and at the river and in the library are also very interesting, as it is the library itself.
The symbol of the city has 3 hearts. You see them all over the city and feel the heartfelt atmosphere everywhere you go.

A nice little Swedish city with a Picasso statue and many small sights to see. You do not have to stay many days as everything is close by and can be seen quickly. Peaceful place at day, gets crazy at night as the Swedes like to party.

The out door museum of 18th century homes, barns, saw mill, wind mill and more was unusual and well dome with good labeling in English and in Braille. Imagine that!
A little hard to find but follow the signs for the hospital and up on the hill overlooking Halmstad.
The hotel is located close to one of the nicest beaches, among the treas. We were staying here for a night with a dog in one of the rooms in a building with a shared kitchen. Eventhough 4 rooms were sharing 1 kitchen, you couldn’t hear the neighbours because of a good soundproofing. Excellent place to stay with a dog, with a lot of green surfaces, close to a beautiful forest and a river delta. Breakfast in the main building had a lot of dairy-free options. Durig the day you can book a sauna with a jacuzzi, rest area and massage chairs.
Hotel lounge/reception/waiting area is beautiful - we were provided with a fridge in our room (to store milk for kids) which was greatly appreciated. We were not aware of cots being available as Booking.com didn't provide that info, so thankfully after making inquiries with hotel, a cot was made available which was super helpful.
We loved everything about this hotel. Cozy, calm, beautiful, and very clean. We felt at home during our journey there and the family running the hotel is lovely and made us feel confortable. We recommend 300% and for our next visit to Tylösand we will go back to this hotel, for sure!! Tack så mycket!
Lack of cleanliness, we only received one small blanket for two people in a large bed. The room is cold, the windows are dirty, the shower gel and the shampoo bottle are empty. At 2 o'clock in the morning, loud music was played, it was impossible to sleep. the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
The hotel has a superb location close to the train station, but also to the city centre. The room was quite big, had a lot of charm and everything necessary. I never met the staff, but there were no issues with checking in and out. Good wi-fi connection, no noise. Excellent value for money.
Dogs are not only allowed they are treated like royalty with special beds, food etc. The hotel is new and very modern, beautiful interior and very comfortable beds. The rooms are also super quiet, there is no noise from outside or other rooms/corridor. Breakfast great too!
We were biking Denmark and took the ferry over to Sweden. The hotel is about one mile from the ferry dock. It is very clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning before heading out on our bikes for Torekov.
Good sized room, comfortable beds, nice and cosy hotel in general, clean. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore the city and the location of the hotel but it looks as very good on the map. Good parking options, many and cheap.
