Small but very cozy city with beautiful lake views. City is popular for their candies, on the main street of Gränna there is a number of candy shops with huge selection of different sweets and you can see their production process. Could not find a decent place to eat though, basically sandwiches and candies all around :)

We found the people friendly, the surroundings clean and pretty.
We were able to walk a lot and saw as much as we could. With a car it would have been better, to be able to drive on the island and further around the town.
We found a wonderful pizza place up the hill from Grenna Hotell where we stayed.
We also came to see where my Great-Great Grandfather came from to America. Also found grave of his brother in the cemetery.
Hope to return again to this place and see more of the countryside.

We spent one day in this area. The town is small and after the candy experience, we were done. The ruins nearby were great and the kids enjoyed exploring and picking the cherries from the overgrown cherry tree on the site of the manor ruins.

Gränna was a lovely small town with beautiful scenery and a relaxed environment. It was perfect for our short romantic stay... we arrived just in time to enjoy the sunset. We wish we would have stayed longer!
It was an excellent location directly on a lake. The Sauna what belongs to Bauergarden is just 150 Meter down the road with direct access to the lake. It´s an amazing view and relaxing is ensured. Breakfast and also the menue offers during dinner are excellent. There is no english menue card but the friendly staff is always giving you recommendations and will translate. I would like to come again :-)
This hotel is run by husband-wife and they were both very helpful. Lina was very humble and made us feel very comfortable. We liked the location of this place and the view from the roof top. The rooms were also pretty good and some good food options in breakfast and dinner. Also thanks to Lina, she always did her best to meet your needs. Also this place has free parking.
We liked everything about the Smålandsgården. Comfortable, nice room with proper armchairs to sit & relax, good view to the lake and garden, a balcony, good bed, good shower. And best of all, with its own personal charm, away from the standard chain offers. We only stayed for a stopover night, but it deserves a longer stay. Perfect for a getaway.
We loved everything. The house is lovely and new. The location is incredible. Perfect for people who love to relax and enjoy a good time by the lakeside, even for those who like fishing. Omberg and Gränna with the wonderful Visingsö are minutes away, but there are lots of activities you can do in Brunn.
The accommodation is perfect - beautiful view from the bedroom in the garden and on the sea, well equipped kitchen and a very clean bathroom. Very special: the very nice hosts and the delicious cinnamon buns as a welcome. One day was unfortunately much too short, we will be happy to come back.
Overall, we really like this place. The room & toilet were clean. The atmosphere was peaceful and very cosy. The facilities were good enough and the decorations were unique. Friendly owners. We will stay there again if we visit Gränna in the future, and we recommend others to do the same.
Hotel with lots of character overlooking the lake. Beautiful views from the room and the restaurant. Rooms were clean and comfy, breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the walking trail down to the lake. Would definitely stay here again.
The room had view over the lake Vättern.You can park your car in the front of your room.The room was quite ok but the whole place need a renovation. Gasoline station at the front of the hotel. Close to highway.
We had just 1 nights stay on our way south. But I wished we could have stayed longer, as I really enjoyed the little house. It was a good bed, and a cozy upstairs room. The garden is beautiful.
