Beautiful surroundings! Really, BEAUTIFUL. The place has so big potential, but you can feel it's not fulfilled because of so many things that could be better. Maybe it's the best for school camps, but for people renting it as hotel rooms - not so much.
The place is situated next to the Kinda Canal and we've seen you can rent the kayaks or other swimming equipment. On the premises there is a football field, a playground, an outside grill with sitting places, a sandless beach, a "beach" made of a huge rock, with a little pier next to it and a lot of beautiful grassy areas, maintained by lawnmower robots.
The premise is 3 minutes away from Rimforsa center, where you can park for free and stroll through this little idyllic town.
Picturesquely located right by Lake Åsunden in a scenic surrounding is the Rimforsa Strand. It offers free Wi-Fi, a bookable lakeside sauna and classically decorated rooms.

The Hotel, location, history and staff where amazing, aspecially the large lounges where one could enjoy a coffee, thee or a lemonade with fellow guests we could enjoy. Fantastic little place off the main road in gorgeous undulating smallholding landscape. The B&B is built into the riding stables of the farm, which specializes in show jumping, with windows directly from your breakfast table into the arena! Obviously very useful as lodging for young riders staying for longer courses, but also fun for weary travellers during the off-season. The village down the road and the hikes around the local waterways are also great fun.

The breakfast was amazing. The host very accommodating and cared about us having a great time. You could borrow bikes and canoes but it's essential that you have a car to explore the archipelago or nearby towns like Västervik or Loftahammar.
