Very quiet location. Big barbecue place, Host provided wood so I can use it. Although phone reception is not the best in area but it's worth it! Host allowed me to use his row boat in the lake nearby. Peaceful time after work, great place to rest.

The place is nice, especially for swimming and kayaking, beautiful lake. However we were disappointed by luck of working swimming pool, wifi and tv. All three were in the offer and we even especially checked the availability of the pool. And when we complained during our stay no reaction for six days when we started the mediation procedure via booking. So big potential of the place but also big disappointment for us.
Nice and clean room. Comfortable bed! Coffee, tea, good breakfast! Everything you need. Very useful you can charge your car in front of the hotel.
Our room overlooked ‘Årjängs Troll’, fun! I also like to see how the hotel is reducing it’s impact on the environment: solar panels, no lights when a space is not used etc.
The check in process is really good. Fast and confortable. It is a perfect hotel for when you are traveling from Sweden to Norway. It is really close from the border, so you can save some time the next day!
The hotel is centrally located and therefore very easy to find. Close walk to everything that central Årjäng has to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving a smile, a hello, and goodbye.
