I loved that it was a women owned eco resort. No plastic water bottles. The staff was wonderful. Helped me beyond belief getting the tour I really wanted with a great guide. Good food and even an espresso machine!!!

The staff was fantastic! The food was excellent! It is located outside Musanze, so the neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio after gorilla trekking.
The WiFi worked well too.

It really is a homestay, which I like. It feels like a more local experience to me. My room was large, and what I enjoyed the most was the beautiful garden. The owner walked me around and showed me the different flowers, fruits and vegetables he was growing. Breakfast was simple (eggs/toast/tea) but all I needed it to be - and at whatever time I specified the night before. And, there is an option to pre-order a big traditional Rwandan dinner feast (ask to see the photos, its quite a spread!) for $30pp, which seems high given local prices - but if you want to try all of the traditional Rwandan dishes in one big festive and beautifully presented meal, this is a nice treat.
