Soko Banja is known for the benefits of the termo-mineral baths, but we also had very good impressions from the exceptional natural beauties in the city's surroundings. Waterfalls, forests, parks, picnic areas, many hiking trails with different levels of difficulty... Our recommendation is to visit the Ripaljka waterfall, the small lake of Ozren, Lepterija, Sokograd, Borici, Banjica park, Moravica river with its beaches and of course the thermo-mineral baths. The air is so clean and light, so you feel incredibly refreshed after your stay.

Besides city center and its parks, the rest of the town has bad roads and no sidewalks for the pedestrians. Theres is an accute shortage of water-bad pressure in the system.
The best thing is its air, and the nature arround. The worst thing is the winter period-everybody burns wood&coal-heavy pollution and smog, especially in the lower parts

The nature outside of city is perfect and there is a lot to see, to do and experience. Some of the musts are Lepterija, Ripaljka, Borici, Popovica, Moravica...
Both parks in the city are very nice and clean, a lot better then 10 years ago.
There is a lot of restaurants and fast foods and prices are very affordable comparing to Belgrade or other large cities.
My advice for first time visitors is to park your car and go everywhere by foot.
Only thing i didn't like is a lot of abandon dogs on the streets. They were friendly but they had fights between themselves, so it wasn't pleasant to be around it.

it is a quite small village.
it is a quite small village. All the basic services are available like supermarkets, bakery and taxis. Its a good relaxing with nature place. I like the people there were too friendly and helpful. Food is nice and there were not that much variable types of food especially for us (Muslims), but we had tasty food.

I most liked natual food, Amam, Nature. Every day you can find and see something new. Every day you can go to another place and be pleasant surprised! Taxi is not expensive! Mostly I liked a long walks through the Natur and the Air is so good. I will go again to Sokobanja.
My stay was in April 2023 and I can say that the apartment is truly unique with various hand-made designs such as a chandelier made of bicycle chains. You can explore all the different objects there and keep spotting more interesting things. There's a lot of space - a big living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen where I worked during the day sitting at a large table, and a balcony. Staying in this place indeed was an experience and a pleasant one! The hosts were nice and helpful and the location of the place is also very fine.
One of the most welcoming check-in I've ever had, the staff was amazing and very helpful plus friendly. The hotel was very big and only seen a small part as our room was near the lobby but it was very nice! The breakfast was really great and the dinner even better, the local wine served was also really pleasant. I really enjoyed the spa also and in general my stay at Sunce was perfect!
The location is very accessible. The facilities are also good, I love that the bed is really comfortable. The room and clean. It is close to the market and tourist attractions. I love that they provide a space to entertain kids. My son enjoyed playing with what was provided and the hotel is also within walking distance from the playground. I absolutely recommend the hotel. thank you.

The apartment was very nice, cozy and full of light and energy. There were all the things that you need in a apartment. It was quite and spacious. Beautiful sunset views from the rooms. The location was great! Very close to the centre. Very satisfied with everything and warm recommendations to everyone who wants to visit this beautiful, unique and energetic place.
The apartment was amazing and such a good find. If i was ever to come back to Soko banja definitely would stay here. Already recommended it to people going to Rtanj :)

A modern cozy apartment full of light, in the heart of Soko banja, and managed by exceptional couple, Marija and Milan. Especially Marija was very helpful with everything making our stay very comfortable. This apartment is perfect for two people.
The hotel is amazing, room super comfortable, staff very pleasant and always available. The spa is very good as well as the food in hotel restaurant. There is a part of the lobby for smokers and live music playing in the evening during weekends 💙
The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location from the city centre is very convenient. The landscape around the hotel is relaxing (there's a little stream next to it and a lot of greenery.
