The receptionist is super friendly, she provided all info we need and we might need. The area of the hotel is large, it consisted of two buildings. The room that we got was really nice and spacious. If I remember right it was 213, not so sure. It has a huge balcony with comfortable beach chairs that my daughter and I love so much.
Food was also great, fresh tiger shrimp with acceptable price. Most of the above, the staffs are so awesome, they made us feel so welcomed and they always smiled.

We stayed at Villa Szandy in Sovata for 2 nights and had a blast! We were a big bunch, so we took up a few rooms and apartments in the villa. Right from the start, we noticed how clean everything was. They had all the stuff we needed, and the beds were super comfy which was awesome.
The cool part of our stay was at night when a bear visited the backyard of the villa. It was exciting, but just a heads up, if you're hanging out late at night outside, you might want to watch out for that.
In all, Villa Szandy was a great spot for our group. It had all the basics covered and threw in a little adventure too. Definitely a 5-star experience and can’t wait to come back!

It was the first time I visited Sovata. Quit being surprised about the place - seems to be well-kept and prepared for the season. Nature surrounds the holiday village! A lot of forest routes and alley to walk quietly.

Sovata is simply amazing, very clean and nice mountain resort where you can enjoy nice walks in te forest around the lake and you can swim in Ursu lake as well. The salty water is good for the bones and joints. I was eating in few places but the best was restaurant Club Dracula. lovely location close to the lake with a spectacular view. I absolutely loved the food, the ambiance, the location and the service. the food was incredibly tasty and fresh. The restaurant waiters were very friendly and not pushy at all. I would definitely recommend Sovata for foreigners as they have to see the beauty of Romania and they need to try the Romanian food like sarmale, mamaliga, mici, papanasi, steak, pastrav and the famous soups. I alsotried goulash and it was delicious.

We never expected the resort to be this nice, the whole town is renovated and there are many activities to fill up you're time. Just to name a few: Mocanita Sovata - a 2h ride on a steam train, the Praid salt mine that you can visit and there are a lot of trails around the forest, one that even has a Bell Vedere tower built .

It’s a great destination!Bear Lake was great !If you have small children and they splash a bit ,the elderly will complain and constantly roll their eyes at the kids so expect that .Other than that our stay there was great!

Long walking around the lakes, through the woods, in the wonderful silence of the nature. Nice lunch and dinner at Relax hotel and Bello Pizza restaurant, with wonderful views. Great place to relax and recharge your energy in the natural environment.
The hotel is simply amazing. Nice location, lovely rooms with all the facilities. Very clean and smelling nice from the moment you enter in the hotel. You really need to give it a try and you will not regret. The pool is so cool and they have a special pool with the salt water from the lake. I loved my vacation in Sovata and I'm glad I found this beautiful hotel.the breakfast was delicious and they have very healthy food. They have good variety of food and even they serve prosecco for breakfast.
All clean, big bedrooms, kitchen has all you need for cooking - you just need to have your own tea, salt and sugar.
It's really nice that each apartment in a hotel, has two bedrooms. So you can stay 3-4 person, family or friends!
We arived early in a morning, and host allowed us to leave our bags near reception. So we can go explore the city until check in time.
Location is central. The personnel is really polite and nice. Wi-Fi connection is very good. There is a nice terrace outside, to enjoy the sun and drinks. Also, a nice fireplace indoors at reception could make for an enjoyable time. The water pressure in the shower was very good. We enjoyed the balcony as well, with a view over the Main Street in Sovata.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms for 4 people. It has all the necessities for the living. It has its own gas boiler. Next to the building places a big playground for kids. In May I hadn't problems with the free parking place. D3 in the address means stairs number it is on the corner near the playground. The price is Very good for the Sovata district.
Wonderful experience, starting with the welcoming and helpful host, great location, clean, well equipped and modern accommodation plus free car park. It was only a short stay, but we will definitely come again. Sovata is one of the best kept secrets of Transylvania, well maintained and lots of activities to chose from.

Ideal for big groups stay, and perfect location to the the Praid Salina and Strand, approximately 5 minutes drive. The villa is very modern, the rooms are spacious and the view from the garden and the balcony is breathtaking. In addition, the kitchen is extremelly well equipped,

The Vila is very close to the main attractions in Sovata, it is newly built and very modern. The rooms are spacious and clean, staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.... Highly recommend it if you visit Sovata!
