Loved the hotel: although the double room seemed initially a little small, we were very comfortable in it. Loved the room, bathroom & the open balcony too. The bed was very comfortable and you gad a variety of pillows to choose from. There is an elevator between floors, but you can also take the stairs.
We really enjoyed the spa area - maybe the salty water pool could be extended, as during our stay it was very popular. The spa bar is well stocked and the drinks are good.
The personnel was professional and helpful; they were nice with the customers- from reception to cleaning staff to bar or restaurant staff.

We stayed at Villa Szandy in Sovata for 2 nights and had a blast! We were a big bunch, so we took up a few rooms and apartments in the villa. Right from the start, we noticed how clean everything was. They had all the stuff we needed, and the beds were super comfy which was awesome.
The cool part of our stay was at night when a bear visited the backyard of the villa. It was exciting, but just a heads up, if you're hanging out late at night outside, you might want to watch out for that.
In all, Villa Szandy was a great spot for our group. It had all the basics covered and threw in a little adventure too. Definitely a 5-star experience and can’t wait to come back!

Sovata is simply amazing, very clean and nice mountain resort where you can enjoy nice walks in te forest around the lake and you can swim in Ursu lake as well. The salty water is good for the bones and joints. I was eating in few places but the best was restaurant Club Dracula. lovely location close to the lake with a spectacular view. I absolutely loved the food, the ambiance, the location and the service. the food was incredibly tasty and fresh. The restaurant waiters were very friendly and not pushy at all. I would definitely recommend Sovata for foreigners as they have to see the beauty of Romania and they need to try the Romanian food like sarmale, mamaliga, mici, papanasi, steak, pastrav and the famous soups. I alsotried goulash and it was delicious.

We never expected the resort to be this nice, the whole town is renovated and there are many activities to fill up you're time. Just to name a few: Mocanita Sovata - a 2h ride on a steam train, the Praid salt mine that you can visit and there are a lot of trails around the forest, one that even has a Bell Vedere tower built .

It’s a great destination!Bear Lake was great !If you have small children and they splash a bit ,the elderly will complain and constantly roll their eyes at the kids so expect that .Other than that our stay there was great!

Long walking around the lakes, through the woods, in the wonderful silence of the nature. Nice lunch and dinner at Relax hotel and Bello Pizza restaurant, with wonderful views. Great place to relax and recharge your energy in the natural environment.
The hotel is pretty clean and well located near Sovata's center and main attractions and the view from our room was quite beautiful.
The room was well lit during the day while the curtains blocked the sunlight well enough in the mornings (if you want to be lazy like me).
The heated floors keep the room perfectly warm throughout the whole day and the bathroom is spacious sufficiently soundproofed.
The bed, the pillows and the blanket were all comfortable and allowed me to sleep like a baby.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms for 4 people. It has all the necessities for the living. It has its own gas boiler. Next to the building places a big playground for kids. In May I hadn't problems with the free parking place. D3 in the address means stairs number it is on the corner near the playground. The price is Very good for the Sovata district.
Excellent & quiet location, just a few minutes walk (20 min) from Lake Ursu, Belvedere viewing Point, Lake Negru, Lake Aluniș.

The staff was very friendly and the location is perfect.
We were impressed by the number of pools and other relaxation options at the spa. We did not use all of them, as we were alone with a toddler, but for sure they are great.
For breakfast there are many options, the food is varied and fresh.
Ideal for big groups stay, and perfect location to the the Praid Salina and Strand, approximately 5 minutes drive. The villa is very modern, the rooms are spacious and the view from the garden and the balcony is breathtaking. In addition, the kitchen is extremelly well equipped,
Stayed at that hotel many years ago when it just opened, and to my surprise (well, no, i expected it) - it's still in perfect shape (all looks very new / modern, as if freshly refurbished (or may be it was)).

The place is really peaceful, beautiful nature and very friendly personnel. It is very comfortable, well equipped and spacious. You can reach Sovata by car very easily, but it is a little far away from the hustle, bustle, which is perfect.
I liked the breakfast, spa and the fact that you are not hearing any noise from outside when you are in the room.
Everything is excellent, the only area that could use improvement is the cleaning service.
The apartment is very spacious and nicely arranged. The location is quite quiet. Big and comfortable beds. It is located at some distance from the lakes and the center of the resort.
