Sighisoara is a walled medieval city with beautiful architecture. The Sighisoara Hotel serves absolutely wonderful food all day. You can easily walk the whole city. I would not go to the Dracula room, which is a hokey haunted house-type thing with bats and a vampire that sits up in his coffin. I was hoping for a history of Vlad Dracul.

I love the citadel and I always go back with excitement.
I love the citadel and I always go back with excitement. Just to walk around, climb up to the church and admire the view, visit the Clock Tower, and hang around in this lovely part of the city is great. A lot of cozy terraces full of good places to eat and have a beer makes me come back every other year.

This is a wonderful city to explore for the history and the great food options. The cobble stone streets, the old fortress, multiple churches, and museums offer many places to explore on foot. The restaurant selection is excellent. We enjoyed every restaurant we visited and felt the food, service, and quality were outstanding.

The old city with its towers (Clock Tower, Tinsmiths' Tower, Butchers' Tower, Tailors' Tower, Furriers' Tower, Ironsmiths' Tower etc), as well as the wooden staircase are something you should not miss. The old city starts at 5 minutes walking distance from Binderbubi Hotel. You can spend there about one-two hours (depending on your schedule) and thereafter you can stop to eat something at one of the restaurants in the area. We opted for Gasthouse Altepost.

Sighişoara is utterly charming.
Sighişoara is utterly charming. A truly beautiful small town full of bright, colourful, historical architecture. Around every corner is another pretty cobbled lane filled with picture-perfect painted buildings. The crowning glory is its 14th Century Clock Tower.
We visited out of season (early Oct 2023) and it was perfect. Lovely blue skies, warm enough to walk around without a coat during the day but cool in the evenings. At night we'd wrap up warm so we could sit outside to eat and take in the beautiful town. The food is hearty and the restaurants we visited provided blankets for those sat outside.
We stayed for 2 nights in the old town and wish we could have stayed longer. Most people only visit for a few hours because it's tiny but for us, we were so glad we didn't do this, we like to travel slower than most.
I would love to return to this beautiful town.
We had a wonderful, two-night stay at Casa Wagner. Harry greeted us at check-in -- he was delightful, friendly, informative, and a joy to chat with. Our room, #1, was at the top of the steps. A comfy bed, reasonably sized bathroom with nice shower, and quiet as a church mouse. And, of course, the hotel is on the main square, the best possible location in Sighisoara. We had one dinner and one breakfast at the hotel - both were better than average but not sensational.
Super-Hosts (including here also the Cat !) in a Super-Location (the Best I can think of, when visiting Sighisoara).
If you are a Big fan of the Ultra-all-inclusive-turkish-style 5*+++ hotels, just Don't go there ...
Otherwise, it is the Best option you can find, Unbeatable in chapters such as "Historical information", "Cultural information" and "Practical information for a successful holiday" :)
Fantastic location, right in the heart of the old city of Sighisoara (couldn't be closer to the tower, great view while having breakfast). The hotel is located in the beautifully renovated historical building. Each room is unique and tastefully decorated with antics. The hosts are thoughtful and available. We really enjoyed our stay there!
An excelent hotel! Surprisingly one of the most beautiful 4* hotels I've ever been in, and I've had my fair share of stays all around Europe. The room I stayed in was huge. Bathroom the same. Very clean. It's situated in the center of Sighișoara. Lots of foreign tourists book here, I think I was the only local tourist in the restaurant.
The apartment was equipped better than we expected. Everything was new. Very high standard. Check in was very easy, the owner send us the door code in text message. There is a free parking near the bulding. Few steps from the old town, very nice view from window. If you want to visit Sighisoara this is your place
We loved the location, we had a room on the second floor with a wonderful view of the church. It was really clean and warm in the room for all our stay. The hotel is right in the citadel, so it was near all the attraction points. It was a beautiful trip and we would be delighted to come again here.
The hotel is clean, big, has a restaurant which offered a decent breakfast. Our room was very big. In my opinion, there could have been an extra couch or an expendable armchair because there was a lot of space and we had been traveling with a baby and a toddler. But all in all, it was a decent stay
Very clean, nice room, staff was extremely friendly, perfect English, we got a free Cookie on check in (delicious). Sighisoara is very small, but anyway the situation of the hotel is perfect, walking distance to castle and all sites. overall the town and hotel is definitely worth visiting
The suite was the most amazing room we have ever had in a hotel. The furnishings were antique and the bed was huge. The location was minutes from restaurants and attractions in the Old Town. The breakfast was varied and delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The people, their service was awesome. That includes personnel from the hotel and the restaurant. The building is awesome, especially the underground “Crama” and the restaurant at first floor. The food was awesome too.
Beautiful boutique hotel repurposed from a 100 year old building near the center of Sighișoara with private parking and an amazing buffet breakfast. Friendly staff and owner who made us feel welcome.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. Andreea really accommodated us so well. The hotel is full of character, and it was so cool to stay in a building within the Sighisoara Citadel.
The hotel is matching the Sighisoara vibes. Very nice and clean, in the middle of the citadel with a vintage atmosphere.
You can park your car in front of the hotel for 15 minutes.
The property has rooms fit for a 5 stars hotel at a more than decent price. Everything was spot on. The host is an amazing lady that went above and beyond to make me feel spoiled.
Both hotel and restaurant are great value for money. The owners are very welcoming and the room is clean and spacious. Only a few minutes away from the pretty town of Sighisoara.
I liked the style of the hotel and the location is good. If you want to park there is a parking where you pay 10lei for the whole day, or 2lei for 1hour
