I had a wonderful experience for 3 days in Sibiu. We had the best accommodation at Transylvanian Valley: central but very quiet location, welcoming rooms and a dreamy inner courtyard where we enjoyed our coffee. Actually everything here was great, and our host (Filip) really made the difference, even giving us recommendations about places in Sibiu. Transylvanian Valley is a place where you want to come back for sure.

Lovely old town with small and large square and lots of interesting and colorful architecture. I recommend to visit the Brukenthal National Museum and of course the beautiful bridge of lies (by night extra special). We travelled with our two dogs and saw no stray dogs in Sibiu.

We visited the upper and lower town, the city walls and took lots of pictures of the eyes of Sibiu. It’s a very walkable small city. We also visited, on the recommendation of our host, the Astra National Ethnographic Museum Complex. We ate traditional Romanian dishes and drank local craft beer at Restaurant La Bubu.

Some of the attraction to be seen in Sibiu: the Large Square, Brukenthal Museum, Liars’ Bridge, Evangelic Church, Citadel wall with 3 towers are just.
See Sibiu from above. The easiest way is to climb the council Tower in the main square of Sibiu.
Nearby: make sure not to miss the ethnography sections of the Astra Museum; Sibiu Zoo; The story of the calendar; The medieval fortress of Cisnadioara; Valea Zanelor Clay Castle; The upside down house
Very comfortable place, at few steps to Podul Minciunilor and Piața Mică. We found easily a parking spot just in front of the house. Nearby, a cosy coffee place and a market. The host was very responsive and kind. We appreciated also the good books in the appartement (Shakespeare, Molière and many other authors) reminding us that Sibiu is the city of the best theater festival in Romania.
Very good value for this location!
We definitely recommend this appartement!
The host was very informative and helpful. She was also very very kind. We met a nice woman who showed us to our room. The room was immaculate, comfortable and clean. It was my favorite place i stayed in all of Romania. I couldn’t believe what i was getting for the price. The property is right on the main square with access to everything. I would highly recommend staying here for the comforts of home while in Sibiu.
The property was exactly as described on booking.com and in the pictures. The room was very spacious and we enjoyed having access to make ourselves a coffee and storing drinks in the fridge. The location of this apartment was the best! Walking out you have access to the main square with plenty of restaurants, bars and a grocery store.

The location is fabulous - one can enjoy the historic center with no efforts.
The staff, the pool, the room, the breakfast, the kindness of everyone in the hotel. We felt part of the Damiani family and it was GREAT! This is without any doubt the best accommodation that we have visited in Romania. We felt 100% at home.
