You have to watch out for the drivers though, as they don't really respect anything whatsoever, especially not pedestrians.

Very friendly people especially in the country side, food is absolutely delicious (ask the waiter what's good and try local cuisine) . Great light for photography nearly every day and some cool characters to shoot in Tara Oasului! If you like fishing there are lots of lakes around the city and people love to fish over there.
Romanian people are wonderful! Incredible support for Ukrainians from Romania. 🇺🇦🇷🇴❤️. The hotel is wonderful. Convenient parking, beautiful interior, high level of service. Exceeded all expectations. Thank you for your hospitality. When the war ends in Ukraine and peacetime comes, we will come to rest in your wonderful country and good people. 🙏

This is an old stately hotel in the city center with large classically furnished rooms.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean.
The hotel is located next to a beautiful park and with pubs and eateries nearby.
Behind the hotel are a few parking spots that can be used by hotel guests, and there is also another small parking lot of the hotel somewhere in the neighborhood--good to announce at the receptionist if you park in either of those two places.
The staff is extremely nice, welcoming, kind, helpful. We had great food and service in the restaurant and clean and confortable rooms. We definitely keep this address for our travels agenda in this region. Thank you so very much, also, for the welcome drink on the house, always appreciated after a long trip on Romanian roads and before a generous and savory meal!
The hotel is clean, quiet (we stayed in the middle of the week), at good location if you plan to leave Satu Mare early in the morning, the breakfast is very good and the staff very helpful and polite. I also appreciate the parking and the size of the room.
The host waited us at the property. He was really kind and helpfull.
