Stopped here as part of a motorcycle tour. No secure parking but bikes were OK out front. Although the hotel looked dated from the outside it was clean and rooms where a good size with a nice bathroom. Rooms overlooked the Danube too which helped

I loved Severin's Fortress, it was such an amazing find and I could have stayed all day. The city itself is pedestrian friendly with a lot of options for eating. The weather wasn't great and the fountains weren't on but that's about the only bad thing I could say about the stay.

It is a border town with all the problems that come with...
It is a border town with all the problems that come with that. I cycled from Serbia and there was a shocking amount of dead dogs on the road. Then, terribly, there were young girls working as sex workers on the first off ramp. Just shocking. The Romanian Government has to help these people. It was so sad to see them.

The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay. There was a restaurant on location in the inner yard of the building, in a beautiful garden setting. The food was delicious! Because of the restaurant, the garden may get noisy in the summer months but it was pretty quiet at the beginning of October. There were many cars parked on the street so it may get tricky to park in peak season. The city is easy to get around in and the city center is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

It's a good location for using as homebase and then doing roadtrips every day in the surrounding area.
City center also looks very nice with quite renovated buildings. A walk near the Danube river during the day is also great.

After two vacations in Romania and staying at 8 different places, this might be the best place we've been at. The apartment is close to the city center, and has easily available parking spots. There are plenty of stores, restaurants and bars nearby.
The place is nicely furnished and clean, feels homely, and has all necessary comforts for one to enjoy their stay. The hostess was extremely nice and welcoming, and she even took time to write in our own language when needed. We'll gladly stay there again.
Spacious hallway and room, spacious shower cabin, a room TV and heating machine, well maintained and clean… overall, very good value for the money compared to other local hotels and right next to the Main Street in town which takes you down to the city centre quickly. Close to the city’s main shopping centre, take aways, local mini bars, a super market and a big park as well.
First positive impression was the staff's attitude towards the visitors. No matter we planned to do both the check-in and check-out outside of their work hours the process was well-described and smooth for us. The next pleasant feeling was the interior and the nice smell of the hotel premises. There are also parking lots outside.

Great hotel, very clean, modern. Huge room with AC, very comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful. The best thing was the restaurant, amazing food, we did not expect this in Rumania. It is a must. We enjoyed the food very much and highly recommend this place to everyone.
I liked the location, the room, the restaurant and that I could charge my electric car, because the hotel has a charging station. The staff is friendly and helpful and staying at Nest I felt like I was on vacation, which is what I was looking for.
what I appreciated the most beyond the room and its comfort is the welcome in the establishment. Laura is adorable and is present at all times. I highly recommend a night or more at the Corona Hotel. Thank you again Laura for your sympathy.
We loved it. The hotel looks amazing, it is squicky clean with an excellent mattress and wonderful hosts. I cannot praise it enough. Plus the value that you get for your money is outstanding. I would stay here any time I visit the city.

Pretty good location, easily accessible with big free parking. The room was fitted with everything you may need plus it had a big balcony. Generally good place to stay for a night when you travel between Serbia and Romania.
The hotel is not bad at all. For us, as we just needed to have a bad during our biketrip it was perfect.
The in-house restaurant is very nice an the stuff is young and mostly friendly. Food was delicious! Drinks are nice!
The hotel has automated private parking, qualified staff, excellent breakfast and a very good location from the touristic perspective. If you choose a room oriented to the Danube you'll probably get one of the best views.
