We had a awesome stay at Belle Epoque in Constanta. The hotel is exceptional, our room (Madame de Pompadour) is beautifully decorated. The attention to detail can be seen everywhere. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had in a hotel. It is very generous with lots of different goodies. The service is extraordinary, every wish is fulfilled. You can always start the day well on the roof terrace with a great view. We would come back here again at any time, we can recommend a visit to everyone. In Belle Epoque you gonna be able to live the extraordinary!

The room was cozy, with a view towards the back yard. The bed was comfortable. There is a coffee machine in each room, which we enjoyed having. Even though it is further away from the beach area, that didn't bother us, since we travelled for other reasons and only stayed one night in there.
The host was amazing, she was very helpful with the check in instructions and she was always one call away. We made a request to check in earlier than the specified hour, having an event we needed to attend to in the afternoon, and she made sure our room was tidy and clean faster.

Constanta is a town of historic interest, situated along a coastal route once contested by Greeks and Romans ( there is a wonderful open exhibition, with many pieces from archeological finds, in the town park ( off Tomis Strada ) ...along with information of the Greek fortress that once guarded the port). The historic town square is an airy spot to enjoy the sea-breeze and enjoy al-fresco dining outside any of the many quality brasseries and bars.
The Art Museum offers work by Romanian artists ( impressionist and modern style) in a lovely building. Entry just 15 RON

Boring city compared to 10 years ago. Clubs have disappeared, Taxi`s still trying to cheat you. Mamaia in regress. Water quality on the beaches still dodgy.Food,prices and service questionable. Cafe Do Brazil, Playa Modern and area around the old town(Tomis Sud) the only exceptions. Left the city for Varna, Bulgaria and never regretted the move

Constanţa has an interesting old town which is not over-touristy (like Braşov) and not too overpriced. There are interesting buildings and good places to eat. We particularly liked On Plonge near the marina: good, reasonably-priced food in a very pleasant setting. The town has good, frequent, fast public buses and regular buses south along the coast and elsewhere from near the train station. Travel to and from Bucharest by train is quick, comfortable, and not expensive.

The “peninsula” or old town is the only part of town where I actually spent my time. Pedestrian streets, seafront promenades, marina, beaches: all good for excellent walks. All the good museums are also nearby (Art, Folk, archeology)

The front desk staff and servers were affable, accommodating, and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The room was very clean and quiet, and had a mini bar with a variety of options. The breakfast was personalized and delicious. The location couldn't be better if you want to be close to the beach, Modern and Neversea are located at the end of the street (also down a number of stairs, but totally worth it). I don't have anything negative to say about this hotel, we will be staying here when we come back to Constanța.
The apartment was well-equipped, clean, and spacious. The location was fairly close to the beach, and the area was peaceful. There was a pharmacy and a supermarket just around the corner, and parking was available in front of the villa. Public transportation was conveniently located 100 meters away, with buses going to Mamaia or the Old Town. The value for the price was excellent.
Nice, clean and comfortable appartment, very welcoming host. The neighbourhood can't be called appealing, but the bus stop right near the building is a big plus, as it offers direct means of transport both to the train station and to the nearby Mamaia resort. Thank you!
