I booked a room for my mom who travelled to Buzau for a few days to attend her 60th high school reunion. I knew it was going to be a very emotional trip so I booked her into the best hotel.in town as a treat. And I am so glad I did! We had lunch and dinner at Bistro Junior and Rigo restaurant and enjoyed our meals.
The apartment we stayed was well taken care and cosy.In the center of the city and yet not noisy at all.

Buzău is a „work in progress”.
Buzău is a „work in progress”. Some beautiful buildings, but not a „touristic” city. The area has a lot of natural attractions (go to Pâclele Mari and Pâclele Mic to see the „mud volcanoes”).
To eat: try first restaurant Moara Drăgaicelor, you won't look for another one.
This flat was exactly what I needed. Very clean, with a warm feeling, all facilities were exactly as described online. The host was a very nice lady who offered to collect me from the train station.
The flat is located at about 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre, also there is very good public transport nearby and taxi if you need. Also, it is close to grocery stores, a few retaurants, shops and there is a park not far from there.
I was really pleased overall and I plan on keeping in touch with the host for my next trips in Buzau.
Amazing location right next to a vineyard, high quality and modern facilities, friendly and super attentive staff, incredibly tasty food, nearby Sarata Monteoru and Buzau for additional sightseeing during the day. Definitely a place to return to - either during summer in order to make the most of the pool they have, or for a few days of remote work in the middle of nature. Well done in creating such an oasis to escape from busy cities, we will be back soon!
We had an exceptional time at Utopia. The cabin was very clean and cozy and the views were spectacular (even on rainy and snowy weather).
The cabin is easily accessible by small car (you do not require 4x4) and is located relatively close to a grocery store and pizza place (really good pizza).
Make sure to bring some snacks for the cutest cat and friendliest dogs. :)
We definitely recommend this place for a short getaway in nature.
Very nice apartment close to Buzau. The host was very friendly and helpful, he sent us in advance very detailed check-in informations and we found cold water, juice and beer in the fridge - very nice.
For anyone traveling to Buzau area and not needing to be at walking distance to the center, I would highly recommend the apartment.
The breakfast was nice. The room was very clean, and comfortable, and well air conditioned. Although the hotel is on a busy street, the rooms are on the far side of the building, and so are quiet. We booked at short notice - got a puncture nearby - and were pleasantly surprised to find such a good hotel nearby and available.
The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center, the surrounding buildings are very beautiful, the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is some authentic local dishes, if I come back in the future, this will be my best and first choice
I have spent the night in dozens of hotels on the trips I have made, the owner of this hotel is the most helpful I have met, he is willing to serve the slightest wish you will have. The rooms are clean, and quiet. I highly recommend this hotel.

Owner was very nice and let me part my motorycle in the gate. Excellent for if you have a motorycle or bicycle, but it is a little hard to maneuver with the small gate. Very clean rooms
