Location and views are stunning. Staff were lovely and helpful. The food and wine were excellent. Room was really comfortable and lovely to have seating right outside. In fact there are seating areas everywhere. The pool was beautiful.

Stunning, renovated room with a beautiful marble bathroom. We stayed in the suite which had a lounge room which was the perfect place to relax. Large windows along the entire apartment so we had them all open allowing the breeze to flow in. The owner knows how to do hospitality, from the easy checkin process to the little details in our room, breakfast was delicious including homemade pastries and so many options for all breakfast tastes.

Impossible not to love this place! The view is unique and absolutely wonderful! the pool area with bar service, the terrace with the restaurant with a fantastic view over the valley and vineyards everything was great.
the complimentary guided tour at the wine house and wine tasting was great and the wine soo nice! Big lovely room with complimentary tea and Nespresso coffee. Nice and varied breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful. The lady at check in gave a lot of info and she also made sure the staff at the restaurant gave us the table with the best view...thank you so much! Location is also great not just for the view but because you are close to Pinhao where you can do boat trips.

The Quinta de Sao Luiz, where we were staying, made a reservation for us at a restaurant in Tabuaco. The drive to the restaurant was challenging due to the serpentine road and rainy weather. I don't think there was much to do in that small town, but we had an okay experience at the restaurant.

The trip to the Quinta was through some wonderful rambling winding roads in the Douro valley. There are many places to visit there, and although we thought the location was perfect, some might like a location closer to town and not so far from Porto.

Charming town not overrun with tourists. Phenomenal tous it information center with helpful staff. Cute museum display. Just nice little town in the mountains not far from vineyards and DOC restaurant.
We liked everything about that hotel. A hotel looked almost new, a room was spacious and nice, we got a corner room with 2 windows and french balcony. Breakfast was excellent. A view was amazing.
