It is a traditional Portuguese hotel, with a family feel and a slightly dated feeling. Everything is there, just not always that great. Staff were friendly and we managed in my bad portuguese and their limited english. I needed to borrow a charger and they had one. That's very good.

The house was impeccably clean and equipped with all the appliances I needed. The highlight was the wonderful fireplace, which was easy to use and added a cozy ambiance to the space. The host was simply amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and willingly assisted with any requests I had. The breakfast served in the morning was not only generous in portion but also absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a special property - a 300 year old family estate, ran by a couple, Luis and Christina. Undoubtedly, the hosts are kind and sweet people who made us feel very welcome (and even treated us to a glass of excellent homemade wine). The property is very green, has a large garden, a pool and good parking. I would love to give it a better rating, however our stay was objectively not comfortable.
