The villas, and the landscape are beautiful, everything about the villas is tasteful and well organized. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.
The best of the best was my host, Maria. Maria took care of everything I needed. I was on a pilgrimage to Fatima when I broke a foot. Maria went out of her way to take care of me.
Thank you Maria you are the best

Excellent location very close to the Camino, quiet neighborhood. Lovely reception area with personable and informative agent (Dione). Awesome Peruvian-Japanese restaurant on site - one of the best meals we'd had. Walking distance to Porto del Sol and other places of interest. Santarem is located at the top of a hill, so it's a good walk, but lent itself to beautiful views of the countryside.

The room with the stunning panoramic view was clean and comfortable. The food downstairs was very good and reasonably priced. Parking was easy and accessible. The center of town was a good 25 minute walk so we drove and parked in the central underground parking lot. Easy. Nice shops and the Porto del Sol is a beautiful park with another stunning view.

Santarem is a small city north of Lisbon which is non touristy with a small but pleasant old town with a maze of narrow streets and old churches.
the city park the Portas de Sol is a wonderful place to relax in the shade.
It is within the old fortifications on a high ridge with stunning views of the Tejo river below.
The city has good traditional restaurants which are popular and cheap but close by 10pm.
City is a good base for surrounding region and has good transport links in all directions.Lisbon is less than an hour by train and Evora is ninety minutes by bus.

We stayed here during our portuguese camino. Staying at Tagushost was a mix of coming home to your parents place, hotel and hostel. The owner is literally the best guy. He is funny, so friendly and knowledgeable. He really addresses everyone individually and makes you feel instantly welcome, the fridge is accessible with drinks and food. Breakfast is available. The lounges are a great place to relax. Such a sweet place, it was like coming home. We really really loved our stay. Great experience. :):)
The hostel is located in the city center, close to many of Santarem’s attractions. It is above a very cute restaurant and the installation is incredible. Everything was clean, the breakfast is super worthy the price and the staff is so nice and helpful. It made me feel really safe as a solo traveler and I would definitely recommend it. Congratulations to all the staff, it is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.
The place was clean, at the center of town but quite an uphill walk to get into Santarem if you are walking a camino. A restaurant is downstairs and many cafes around the corner. I can hear footsteps above me and those going up and down the steps, as well as some sounds from the street— but if you are tired after a day of walking, it doesn’t matter. Overall very good experience.
The house is near the trainstation, so you get everywhere from there, so even if your desired destination isn't Santarem, you should still consider it :) the house is just amazing! Fully equipped to prepare food, and the interior looks great, fits the feeling of the region. Morning view on the river above which sun lights your room is amazing. I hope I could come here again :)
I did not realize how remote and isolated the location was when I booked it. There is no where to go. It's not a good choice for someone without a car. I booked it only because there was no where else available in Santarem. I arrived hungry, without dinner and there is nothing around. The owners are extremely nice. They ordered a pizza for me. Nothing is in walking distance.
I stayed two nights here on my pilgrimage from Lisbon to Santiago, as I needed a day of rest. This hotel was a good place for that. It's very quiet, it's close to the W shopping mall where I could get food and the things I needed to fix my feet. The room was a bit ... strange, but only in a good way. Unusual shape, and unusual decor. But all new and nice, still.
This property exceeded our expectation. Rute was on hand when needed. The whole place was tranquil but set in the heart of Santarem. The pool are and all faculties we’re amazing. We would highly recommend and will be back if we are visiting the region again.
Ana was very helpful. She was very accommodating and even offered to do our laundry. She gave us a map of Santarém and pointed out the highlights and restaurants. The location close to downtown and the train was great. We were very pleased.
Nice room with modern bathroom in a beautiful agriculture setting which would have deserved a longer stay. We just used it to see Santarém and have only 1 hour drive to Lisbon airport..Excellent breakfast
Next time longer stay.
Wonderful rooms; cozy and very clean. The staff is top notch. Breakfast corresponds to a four star hotel. I thank the hotel staff for everything. The reception desk is open 24 hours - this is very important.
