The pool was pretty but there is no proper shade - as with nearly everything at the hotel it is style over substance. The furnishings in the main areas are nice - and it makes for a cool atmosphere - it’s just lots of their ideas are not that practical it would seem.

This place is a piece of heaven away from people and touristic craziness if you want to isolate and enjoy slow living. I also recommend visiting Santa Cruz in October, November, December, January, February, March, and April when the tourists are gone and the place seems like pure paradise only for the happiness of your eyes.

The place is so lovely, the temperature is perfect in Summer as we had 20-25 degrees on average, it is true that the water in the ocean is cold, but it is highly compensated by nice food, good weather and great people.
I totally recommend you to try this destination, specifically the "Santa Cruz" apartments, in the Santa Helena building, one of the bests apartments I´ve been.

Great village to spend the weekend, with long beaches, few people, a lot of sun, and affordable restaurants with amazing fresh food! You must try our variety of grilled fish! There are also cool bars to take a drink at night
Noah is perfect for a relaxed family holiday - even with smaller children. The staff is friendly, the location with seaview is amazing and the whole surf house is designed in a great style. They offer a lot of activities like surfing of course, yoga, skating or a barbecue at the terrace overlooking the sunset. The infinity pool was quite big and the water was heated. Santa Cruz is a really nice little town - we rented bikes at Noah's to explore the surroundings. We enjoyed it a lot and definitely wanna come again.
Beautiful villas with private pool which are well appointed and well equipped. We stayed in the villa green with a family of 4 and it was the luxury and private space we hoped for. Having access to the hotel lobby, bar and pool (if you are over 16 years) was the cherry on top as it was peaceful and child free. The staff are all amazing and so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble! A perfect 5 star holiday place , we were blown away !
Exceptionally beautiful garden with a spacious, clean pool of perfect temperature. Super friendly and helpful personnel who make you feel at home and have good suggestions. Great location near the laid back and beautiful beach of Santa Cruz and in relative proximity to Lisbon, Sintra, Nazaré and Obidos. Our children of many different ages all loved our stay!
The staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure and there was lots of hot water. Breakfast was tasty and had good variety. The location was excellent, steps from the beach and most of the good restaurants in Santa Cruz.
It is a very friendly, warm and becoming family run hostel. It is in the centre of beautiful Santa Cruz. It is only a short walk to the beach and the supermarket. Ricardo is really lovely and very helpful. I recommend this hostel.
