The best way to describe this place is “quaint”. It’s a lovely old building with great views and from which you can easily explore the magnificent city of Obidos. Inside it’s a mock medieval museum full with costumes and artifacts which seem to be hauled straight from a film studio’s warehouse, which gives it a theme park vibe. Boomers like me will feel nostalgic in this hotel, because the furniture and even the breakfast is 1970s vintage. Its all kept in pristine condition, though. The Standard Room is small, but inside and outside there’s plenty room to chill. The staff seem to genuinly enjoy their job. The Free Parking and the pool are a real plus.

The room was super clean and well presented. The outdoor area and pool was very cozy and nice to hang on in. The staff at the check in could have been nicer but overall it was lovely because we had an event until late and they made us feel very welcome to just stay and talk.

Awesome location 100m from both the city walls and entrance + bus stop to Lisbon. The rooms were HUGE compared to what I had experienced in a lot of other European hotels. Given there isn’t much to do in Obidos the terraces were nice to sit in the sun

A beautifully renovated building in the centre of town but tucked away from the main walkways. Our room was large and comfortable. The pool area was lovely.

The place appeared a bit tired. The grass was very high. It looked like they didn’t want people to sit outside of which was one reason we went there in the first place. The outside chairs were filthy. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet and when you lifted it up one corner dropped down. Cheap shower rod and curtain allowed water to go on the floor.
