This is the best guest house along the Camino Português. The owner is a lovely lady who made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a ride to the supermarket. The house is equipped everything a pilgrim might need and the garden is the perfect place to rest after a day walking the Camino.
Named after a nearby chapel, Casa da Capela is located 7 km from Paredes de Coura and offers an outdoor swimming pool. This pet-friendly property offers free WiFi access.

Beautiful property just 15 minutes off the Camino. Lovely hosts couldn’t be more hospitable. Unfortunately the place needs updating. Rooms were damp with some mold in corners. Beds very uncomfortable. Old blankets and poly cotton sheets so sweaty and itchy. I hope the owner can afford to make some changes to improve comfort as this is a very convenient place to stop. Also arrangement with local cafe. Poor environment and basic food. There is much better available else where on the Camino.

If you’re looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy nature, there you go.
You won’t find a lot of things to do, there’s some cafes and restaurantes, some shops here and there, but the main attraction is nature for sure.
