This is an excellent hotel. Unfortunately we were only there for one night so we did not get to visit the town at all. We will definitely go back and we will definitely stay in the hotel again because it is one of those places where you can be very relaxed, really at ease with everything. It is a traditional Portuguese hotel, with a family feel and a slightly dated feeling. Everything is there, just not always that great. Staff were friendly and we managed in my bad portuguese and their limited english. I needed to borrow a charger and they had one. That's very good.

Loved the hotel itself. Very nicely decorated. Nice A/C in a hot summer day. Friendly staff and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The spa is a small circuit but very good. Two indoor pools that were very good with comfy seats. The outdoor pool was also very pleasant with nice shaded areas and comfy lounge chairs. The bed was comfortable and there an array of choices for pillows. Breakfast was excellent!
