Absolutely fantastic town with wonderful & friendly local people, a great variety & quality of restaurants and beautiful endless beaches which you reach with the pleasant ferry ride. The hotel itself and its courtyard are beautiful and the breakfasts wonderful. The young staff were all really friendly, especially the waiter & bartender Andreia who with her genuinely lovely smile made you feel at home & looked after.

The atmosphere of the guest house is very cozy! You can feel that owner puts her heart in the place. The rooms are big and clean and the place is decorated with a beautiful art made by the owner, which you can also buy! The bathroom is clean and spacious and you’ll get plenty of towels. I also loved the rooftop terrace with an amazing view over the river and town. There is a small kitchenette at the first floor with an espresso machine, tea kettle and fridge. Everything is super close, especially the bus station is a minute away! You can find a jar at the reception for contributions to feed the stray cats and dogs, which I found really sweet. 100% recommend! I will definitely stay again if I am back to Tavira.

Sebastiao gives you a hearty warm welcome on arrival with many tips on the area. The place is mostly quiet except for the occasional train that doesn't run late in the night. The town is a pleasant 5-10 mins walk along the river where you can find cafes, restaurants and all the attractions. The pool is a bonus!

All was reallz good, easz check-in and nice pool.. But the best was the suprise in the morning: although not listed with breakfast, there was cereals, bread, butter etc for use of all in the kitchen, and all was well explained. Especiallz as it is a bit outside this is a nice treat, and verz rare nowadazs :)

We liked Estelle’s friendly manor, she made us feel at home, the breakfasts were fantastic, she was very accommodating to gluten free requirements in our group and she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She gave us excellent advice for eating out each one was fabulous.
