Interesting town divided by a scenic river. Seems to be a nut capital with bulk walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts for sale everywhere. Many reasonable restaurants, but breakfast options limited. Good shopping and pedestrian streets, all within walking distance.

Nice place to stay for a two or three days trip. Good restaurants. You can easily walk all around the city with very nice view. I highly recommend the restaurant Coliseo for Italian food and for Portuguese meal you have so much choice.
Great location, we arrived in the evening when the sun was setting over the old bridge and we just chilled in front of the window after a long trip.
The building itself is small and very clean and neat, parking is available outside 18,00-9,30 free and during the day 0,60 euro/hour.
Gracious hosts, we got complimentary water and coffee (Nespresso capsules).

Sandra is an absolutely lovely host. She greets you with a smile, the story of the guest house, and a map of where to wander locally. I have rarely felt more comfortable and welcome. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of snacks and goodies that were available and freely offered and there is always a very lovely and tasty cake available for when you return from exploring the area. Quiet and cozy, a charming place to stay in Mirandela.
The decor, the peacefulness, the cleanliness. Amazing breakfast, such a selection. The whole place deserves a 10 because it was perfect. A little outside of Mirandela, however, I liked that because it was so private and quiet. Our host was very attentive and gave us lots of choices of where to eat traditional Portuguese food. Location was suitable for our needs. The staff was English speaking and kind. We had the whole house to ourselves. The interior was very cool. In the summer time this is a place to choose in Mirandela. There was an orange tree in the garden with the MOST delicious oranges on it.
This is the place to stay in Mirandela. All is in the details. We were just bluffed. Personal is very nice. breakfast is very good and the garden with the pool is where to stay to relax. We just can highly recommend this place. Restaurants and stores are all at walking distance.
Everything was amazing, from the house to the location and of course the owner's sympathy.
A very special place filled with nature and the fauna and flora of Mirandela. We left that place well rested and longing for more!
Breakfast was fine. We booked and paid for a room with balcony, which we did not get. Reception just shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do But otherwise an Excellent hotel.
