Super charming grounds and lovely staff! We were only there one night but loved it, we didn’t want to leave. Gorgeous renovation, you’d never believe the room was once a small water mill. They also retained the mossy rocky aesthetic perfectly. Just gorgeous!

Everything was perfect: the house is very spacious, nicely decorated with everything you need. The beds are very big and comfortable. The view from the rooms is amazing. The pool is small, but tor us, being almost all the time alone there, was more than enough. The staff was very nice and helpful, always smiling and present. The breakfast was delicious, various freshly made home made cakes being available, with fresh orange juice and croissants. We will surely be back, thank you for your treat!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were excellent- so friendly and helpful. The property itself is gorgeous. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a great view of the wine terrace! We loved having access to both an outdoor and indoor pool as well as the sauna, steam room and hot tub! We were there in mid May and often had the pool to ourselves. Breakfasts were delicious and our dinner at the restaurant was great too. Had a wonderful massage at the onsite spa. We HIGHLY recommend the private wine tasting at Quinta da Portela that staff coordinated for us - was magical!
