We had an odd dinner experience with an unruly fellow diner. The hotel manager, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure all fellow diners felt comfortable with the resolution.
The staff at this resort are fantastic and with a leader like Daniel it’s easy to see why.
Good choice of places to eat. Taxi's not that easy to find in high summer. Some of the side roads are difficult to navigate due to the sheer amount of vehicles. Patience is a necessity, "cute" and "clearway" don't mix !

I loved the hidden beaches, both restaurants we eat in were excellent. I liked it enough we were going to go back in December, but they closed down Portugal, so we had to cancel, another visit will be in my future.

Lagoa is a town nearby some of the most beautiful beaches of Algarve. All very close by car: Praia da Marinha, de Benagil and Albandeira!
It's a bit cheaper than staying in Portimao and more beautiful and family friendly with great restaurants in the city!
The warm and friendly host
The quiet courtyard，i really enjoy the sound from the small pool. Reading in the morning nearby it is kind of relaxing stuff.

Beautiful house in a lovely rural setting between Lagoa and Carvoeiro. Our room was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed.
The breakfast was delightful fresh bread, fruit, yoghurt, eggs. The couple who run it were very helpful.
We stayed in February so did not use the pool or outdoor areas but they looked very well thought out with a mixture of soft seating and tables and chairs and a lovely pool.
Ida and her husband did an amazing work at renovating this former farm. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with recent furniture. Breakfast is prepared with various cheese and ham from the region, fruit, muffins, Musli… all you need!
We loved our stay there!
Carvoieiro and Lagoa are the nearby cities with plenty restaurant options and bars and beaches are 10min by car.

I arrived at the hotel about three hours before check in and as my room was ready, I was able to check in early. Bonus 1. I was also given an upgrade to a bigger room with a balcony. Bonus 2. The room was very comfortable and the staff were super friendly. I'll definitely return if I visit the area again.

The appartment was very clean, well located in Lagoa (but a car is needed as Lagoa is not easily reachable in public transport). The owner was flexible, she let us do a late check out without charge, and we had fruits to welcome us. The bed in the big bedroom was comfortable.
If you are looking for a quiet place outside the bustle, this is definitely THE PLACE.

Nice location. There's a good seafood restaurant nearly. Hotel staff are very helpful. Make notes, they charge 2.50 euro/night for using safe box. There's self service laundry room. To wash, 8 euro/load. To dry, 1 euro every 8mins
