The host Fernanda was incredible - and reminded me of my grandma. Her dedication to her guests made us feel like we were home - and she provided a wonderful stay for us as we were in dire need of rest from travel. It is a magical place nestled in the mountains with views of the vineyards and mountains ahead. The pool was so appreciated especially with the hot weather.

The sisters who owned this property were lovely. I got a bit lost in the evening (technology!) and arrived late. They don't provide food but they made me a sandwich and a piece of cake - which was much appreciated and very kind.
They made breakfast to my requirements. I couldn't have asked for more pleasant hosts.

The house was perfect in absolutely all aspects: cleanliness, freshness in every corner, spotless bedlinen and towels. All necessary equipment in the kitchen corner. Amazing swimming pool. Incredible panoramic view to the valley during breakfast in terrace. And the privacy - during all stay You can feel absolutely comfortable in this aspect. The place is perfect to explore northern part of Portugal if someone has such a plan. And the owners - Barbara, Bruno and Lucinda - incredibly warm, helpful and attentive hosts. We stayed here 5 nights with a family of four (two children of 9 and 12). We enjoyed the friendly countryside atmosphere. First three nights in the villa with private pool and last two nights in bungalow next to hotel. Both very nice. We loved the breakfast.
Great location to explore north Portugal (Porto, Braga, Guimares, national parks, hiking, etc).
And do not forget to check out the nice little garden with fountains behind the pool...
The hotel is very clean and has a modern vibe. Our first room was a twin room and it was a little small. We upgraded for the suite and it was twice the size with a balcony and a view. Well worth the extra few $. The bed was very comfortable! The staff was very friendly and quick to help with anything you need.
We will stay here again.
