Amazing setting, quirky layout (in a good way) .The bedrooms had their own entrances, so privacy and independence are great for families and groups. There was extra linen and the bathrooms (each bedroom had their own) were well kitted out. Very well equipped kitchen as part of a well considered open plan living area.There's even a separate bar to hang out in!

Caramulo is a great place to enjoy with a great past. The mountains welcome you. There are many trails and the landscape is beautiful. You may enjoy one of the best car museums in Europe. The food is great.
A great location to explore the town of Caramulo. Facilities were excellent. The building has been renovated to a very high standard; rooms spacious , extremely clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of local products and "honey from. Caramulo" which is renowned for its exquisite taste. The lady who runs the business is a font of local knoweldge and very helpful.
Everything! The hotel is spotless, bedrooms super spacious, comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is heated and the jacuzzi on our suite just perfect. The homemade breakfast with local fresh breads are delicious! The hostess so friendly and always available! She just makes you feel at home. I couldn’t recommend more this place.
Breakfast was very .good. The location is very pleasant. Not far from Museu do Caramulo and its surroundings. Also, Viseu is very close.
Above all, Marta and Iker are superb hosts! We appreciated very much to talk with them.
One point: one must appreciate the company of two nice dogs. For us, they were very friendly.
