Very friendly lady who greeted us. We had a lovely room, with a garden view.
Breakfast was nice with a choice to sit outside in the gardens overlooking the pool.
We only stayed 1night, so didn´t really enjoy the pool & all their facilities on offer.
Within sight of the marina, Marina Club Lagos Resort is just a short walk from Lagos’ historic centre and provides guests with luxurious accommodation close to Meia Praia Beach.

The room was quite large with a dining area and full kitchen. Bedroom was big with a large closet, big programmable safe and comfy beds. Staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. Our balcony overlooked the pool and was a nice view! Pool is cold but very refreshing when it gets so hot in Lagos! Walk into town in about 15 - 20 minutes. Large grocery store (Pingo Doce) super close by. Decent happy hour near the pool too.

Burgau is a small fishing village on the Algarve, about an hour from Faro airport.
It is quite unspoilt and has a great beach bar, several good restaurants and a couple of good bars.
The coastal walk from the village to Luz is amazing, and access to other places of interest easy by car.

Butgau is a quiet, friendly little village. Great beach good surfing, lots of restaurants and speaking English was never a problem. No noisy night life or bar scenes for those that like that. Could not find any bus day trips as you would get in a bigger centre. Lots of great walking trails along the cliffs above the ocean. Generally a great little village.

Burgau is a very quaint village that is gradually expanding. The beach is beautiful and a nice size, also very clean. The people of Burgau are friendly,helpful and warm hearted. There are various restaurants, supermarkets, tourist shops. The place we stayed at was walking distance to the beach in Burgau, baker,restaurants and other shops. It had a pool which was very clean, surrounded in a beautiful garden. We had a bbq and outdoor sitting area.

This is one of the best places we stayed on our trip to the Algarve region. The staff is outstanding. Try the evening meals they are fantastic; well presented and very delicious, served by a fabulous host. We are returning as soon as we can !

Everything was ready for our arrival, spotless and the hosts very careful and polite.
This is the right place in Burgau, also the location is very nice and quiet neighbourhood. My favourite stay in Algarve.

Burgau is a nice small Village, with enough shops and restaurants and the beach is calm enough to have a safe swim.
Its great to have everything you need in this village, so you don't need a car every day or night.
Nice and roomy apartment. Comfortable beds. Very good hot shower. Good facilities and extras (e.g. washing powder for washing machine). Good value for a 2 bedroom apartment. Pool looked good (but didn't use it as it was January). A short walk to the main streets of the town & to the beach. A local supermarket less that 100m away. Good communication with the owner. Good instructions and video provided to find and enter the property (important, as could not locate it using google maps - better locator on Booking).
We hadn’t been to Burgau or stayed at Os Descobrimentos for about 20 years and were concerned that it would be a little dated but we were pleasantly surprised that there had been some significant upgrades to the bathrooms and facilities. We really enjoyed our time and the views of the village and it’s surrounding areas are simply outstanding.
The owners were exceptionally warm and welcoming which made our stay even more satisfying. We would definitely recommend.
The apartment was lovely. We only stayed for 2 nights but this was our second visit to Burgau and as our son lives there, we shall definitely be looking at this property when we come again. We didn't really have chance to use all of the facilities, but it was very well stocked with everything that could have been needed. Beautiful big balcony too. We didn't use the swimming pool in our short stay.

Lourdes was an excellent host. Flexible and there to greet us and say goodbye. The swimming pool was great with plenty of sun loungers. Handy location, easily walkable into Burgau with lovely restaurants and a great beach. Would be a fantastic property for 2 families travelling together to hire the whole.
It is a beautiful apartment with spacious rooms and fantastic views. All facilities are provided including beach towels, chairs and sun umbrella. On the balconies were chairs and tables, deck chairs as well as sun beds. The cleaning was outstanding and the owners were very friendly and approachable.
From the hosts welcome to their friendliness I’d recommend and would go back today. Great location and you walk to Burgau in 5mns where you have all amenities, restaurants etc. this is truly a hidden gem.

Location is perfect with unbelievable views, we loved taking hikes along the cliffs, watching sunrise and sunsets, and exploring near by villages. Jana the manager was an awesome host. Absolutely fantastic family vacation!

Loved Burgau over other spots in the Algarve - it was quiet (still 5-6 restaurants, a few bars and nice coffee spots) and had a great vibe!
Apartment was beautiful. Coffee shop right around the corner. So was the best restaurant in town, so was the best tapas bar. Beach was small and inviting and allowed dogs, giving it a nice family type atmosphere.
Great location to do day trips in the Algarve. Excellent hiking trails near by. Clean, comfortable and felt like home. Host helpful and available if needed. Would totally recommend this accomodation!
