We had an exceptional stay! We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the accommodation and the hosts' availability. The house offers a spacious environment and is equipped with everything one might need. Everything was very clean, and in addition, we had the pleasure of finding some extra amenities, such as water, jams, tea, coffee, toast, and fresh fruits like lemons and oranges. The value for money is excellent, undoubtedly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The patio is very pleasant, perfect for relaxing, and the air conditioning was essential on the hotter days. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone seeking comfort and top-notch hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful house with the best facilities of any we’ve stayed in! The cinema and games rooms were a huge hit with the children (and big kids!!), as was the pool area with its gorgeous views. Good location for exploring the Douro valley. Well appointed rooms and fantastic host with great communication. Thank you!
Beautiful place by the Douro river. But it is a bit far from other attractions and villages. Also no supermarket or restaurants nearby. You have to take the train or car to get there. But if you want a special experience in the beautiful Douro valley, this is the place.

We went to Baião because we wanted to visit Eça de Queirós Foundation. It fulfilled our expectations. There is a restaurant there so it is possible to enjoy the afternoon at the Foundation.
There are also preserved villages to be visited and, of course, the Douro!

First of all I was sort of upset with the time we took to get there but it was absolutely worth it. It brought peace to my soul. I'm very much in love with it there. The view, the kind people, the vineyards and their culture is so sweet and cute. I want to definitely go back

We stayed in Baiao because it was central to Lamego, Douro River Valley, Peneda Geres National Park, Braga, Guimares and Amarante. It's best to take the main road to Amarante first, if you are in a hurry, and then go to your destination.
Very comfortable, large suite overlooking pool and the Douro Valey. Super clean, all interior and equipment in perfect condition. Great hosts Miguel and Mimi, looking after everything and always ready to indulge you, before you even think you might want to enjoy something, like a glass of rose with strawberries :) Breakfast was tasty and rich in fresh, local products. Nice restaurant nearby with traditional food from Baião area.
A great place to stay and a lovely family run hotel. We were made to feel wonderfully welcome by the owners. Very comfortable and clean and a fantastic breakfast. The Aircon was a great relief in the heat and the pool too. Highly recommended.
lovely gem, feels like an old monastery which has been changed to a hotel. Really love the building.
The staff is very friendly and like in France you can eat what the chefs cooking. No choices, but superb food 👍 the Veal was delicious
The cleanliness of the entire home, the house and view was above our expectations, an exceptional breakfast, the hosts were so kind and generous. Our bedroom was like a 5 star hotel with all our requests granted (large bed).
