Great location to be based for Ponte 516 Arouca. Our room was comfortable and nice and quiet. The facility is well appointed with shared space to relax in. The breakfast was tasty and set us up well for our walk. Parking was on the street but easy to access and close by. Handy to cafes and restaurants.

Patricia our host was very welcoming
Huge room with big comfortable bed, huge bathroom with great shower, all spotlessly clean.
Sitting on the balcony in the morning looking at the view, it’s was just wonderful. I also loved having a fully equipped modern kitchen to make a cuppa tea in the morning.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

Super friendly hosts first of all. We forgot a coat in the room which wasn’t realised until we were far away. The problem was solved by support of the hosts who sent the coat by post.
The room we rent was nice and clean. The breakfast was perfect, it contained all you want before hiking in the mountains.
Beautiful area with plenty of routes for walkers. Great for outdoors and nature lovers. Very interesting geology and cultural visits options.
Restaurants offer top quality local meat, but that's very much it. Plan for your own cooking if you are hoping for some variety in your diet while in the area.
