Mudite, Nelson and the two boys do everything they can to make sure you have a good time. I have rarely seen such lovely people. The cottage is small but big enough, a lot more luxurious than we expected. Perhaps it is not suitable for those who are used to a 5 star hotel and obese people may also want to look further afield. The location was perfect for me, as I was attending an event on the outskirts of Alenquer. There's plenty of on-street carparking available and it's just uphill from the public bus-stops linking to Lisbon and Vila Franca de Xira. The room itself was lovely: spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and with all the facilities needed to make for a very comfortable, productive stay.
Good location, friendly hosts and very well maintained property with connection to Portugal's great history from first hand.
