We absolutely loved our stay at Alva ❤️This is more like a 4/5 star hotel. You get a lot for the current price! We started off with a room upgrade including a king size bed and a huge terrace. The rooms were spotless and extremely clean. The cleaning ladies came everyday.
Loved the location as well, we came with a car so having a free parking spot included was super useful!
The breakfast is amazing! They serve you your individual charcuterie board, all products are of high quality and it was more than enough. We couldn’t finish all of it!
I love that they ensure that all products are sustainable and of high quality! The best of all are definitely the people that work there. We had very nice chats with Javier, the manager and the receptionist. We felt at home at the very first day ❤️

Nice little gem where we were welcomed by Catia and André and where we felt like home. Check-in was seamless and contactless, clear instructions on how to enter the place. Our room had huge bay windows overlooking the mountains. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was complete - huge variety of food carefully prepared. Highly recommend if you are looking for great hosts and a quiet place to relax and enjoy lush views of the valley.
Exceptional small hotel located in a rustic old village on top of the mountain. Very nice bed and breakfast, with great pool surrounded by garden with beautiful landscaping. The rooms are decorated with vintage furniture and artwork all over the place. Breakfast is good. There is a restaurant which looks very inviting, outside patio seating, and during the day there are plenty of patio and lounge seats with great views of the valley. Very friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel for a stopver in beautiful quaint surroundings.
Beautiful modern design with a spectacular view across the valley from a floor to ceiling glass wall Design included many well executed construction details. Great tapas for supper and excellent breakfast in the cozy restaurant upstairs. Nice wood pellet stove to take the chill of in the restaurant. Very hospitable owner/ staff. Aldeia das Dez is a very scenic stone mountain village .
The lady that runs the hotel was super sweet and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable - it was quite cold when we went and the room was really warm. The breakfast was amazing and really reasonably priced, as were the tapas that are available later in the day. Would 1000% recommend!
let me sum it up best I can, this is my favourite hotel in Portugal. the design, the service, the food, the location, it s hard to beat. a real Biden gem of design and concept. original and efficient. food was great too! staff was beyond. I ll be back many times!
What a lovely hotel, the staff were great, the food was excellent , great location, super swimming pool, really good value. We had a 2 night stop over here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the best places we stayed on our 16 day motorcycle tour
