What an amazing little gem in the centre of Portugal. The location was idyllic, beautiful villa with beautiful scenery. We came to visit our daughter and her family who are doing workaway in Tondela, so we picked the accommodation as it was close by. Our intention was to go out with them each day. However when we arrived, greeted by the lovely Isabelle who gave us a tour of the villa, we decided we would very much like to spend some of our time here. I asked the owners Bruno and Adel if they would mind our daughter, her husband, and their two little girls to come and visit us. We were happy to pay extra for them to use the facilities, which they graciously declined. They were so kind and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they recommended some lovely restaurants. The girls absolutely loved it especially when, ( I think her name was Caterina) came each day to clean and gave them cuddles and ice lollies. We all had the very best time and really did not want to leave. We will most definitely be planning a return journey. Thank you so much for making our first visit to Portugal such a memorable one!

We loved the house and surroundings. It was nicely decorated and full of details and history. Room was very comfortable and has enough space for three of us. We have enjoyed horse riding lesson (thanks to Miguel, Tina & Lily and of course to pipoca, Didi and Amanhecer , we will definitely come back for more.. :)

Hotel was as the name i.e. rural location which is why we chose it. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful overlooking the river.
Rooms large with lovely outlook, with all having their own balconies.

Staff all very friendly and helpful, especially Antonio when we arrived after midnight he made us a cup of tea and gave us some cake as he could see we'd had a difficult journey.

The room was big and the view was amazing, the staff was super nice and always ready to help on anything, it is a really good place to have a calm vacation in the middle of nature and just rest. The sauna was very nice and not crowded, since you have to book your time on the hotel schedule, and the restaurant served great food.
The hotel had an intimate feel about it & wasn't a huge high rise hotel. The outdoor pool was clean & relaxing, the spa was exceptional, the room light, spacious and airy, the food fabulous & the staff attentive & courteous. Highly recommend this jewel far from the madding crowd, by the Mondego River.
Almost everything about this place was amazing. A great restaurant with reasonable pricing was a surprise. The room overlooked the river and views from your private balcony were fantastic out in the country and very relaxing. The spa was generally good with a few signs of wear and tear
Very nice little hotel, with very good breakfast included. The restaurant was also good. Didn't use the swimming pool but it looked nice and clean. The view from the bedroom and restaurant was incredible (although it included parts of the highway).
Very nice accomodation and most of all, the staff was very nice. It was just one night with no opportunity for my using the hotel potential but, for sure a place to return with more time.
