Really friendly and helpful staff at the ski resort and a good selection of restaurants. Also very reasonably priced. Unfortunately a good number of the ski slopes were closed for no apparent reason meaning that skiing the same slopes became monotonous and meant that everyone was queuing for the same lifts so, long queues. The free ski bus is great but if you are in accommodation on the outskirts of Szczyrk the only way to get to the slopes is by car.

Great family friendly place with a lot of amenities for the little ones and the bigger ones. Not as packed with people like other places which I prefer. You ain't waiting in miles just to get somewhere. Great local people, very friendly and helpful. Lovely nature to enjoy and trekking routes. Prices I would say were normal not ballooned like in more popular cities.

Great remote place.
Great remote place. We stayed in a nicely reconstructed old house which was excellently equipped with everything we needed (in the kitchen etc.) The host and the housekeeper were very helpful. We were biking in the bike park, and the trails (or ski slopes) were just two minutes from the house. Just be very careful while driving from the main road to the house - the forest road is very bumpy, and it is easy to hit the undercarriage of the car if it is lower.

It is traffic jump to go to ski lifts in the morning and back to town in the evening. It took us to drive 8 km 30 min in the morning and 1h 20 min to drive back in the evening. We stayed between Christmas & New Year. It was a lot of people. Huge queues near the lifts: we should wait almost 20 min each time to enter the lift. Just 1 apre-ski restaurant which is crowded on lunch: first of all you should search for empty table (almost impossible to find), then wait for 40 min in queue to order the food (not tasty), then wait for 30 min your food is prepared. Terrible

Some negative moment with the shared kitchen - it is not so comfortable when you travel with kids.
However kitchen has all stuff that are could be needed.
Sauna was ready by the requested time.
Mostly, I was satisfied on 90%.

Szczyrk is a town in a valley surrounded by mountains. You have many options for hiking and also getting onto the summits by cableway. There are some really nice restaurants in the city. City center is really nice with the brook flowing through the city.
Perfect location. The place is surrounded by hills, a lot of touristic places (for a walk with a great view). I assume this place is very popular during winter time for skiing.A lot of bars and shops.
In the hotel, we were met by a very polite staff. The lobby was clean and cosy.
Parking for visitors on the hotel's territory is free. The hotel has its own beauty salon. Spa till 21:00 for all guests is free as well.
Standard continental breakfast with good coffee and fried eggs, sausages etc.
All rooms have balconies.
Great location - 200m from ski lift, 100 m from few ski rental services, supermarket just in front of hotel, restaurants in 200 m - you have everything needed very close. And this is not the central ski lift, so not a lot of people around.
Great apartments- clean, spacious, warm. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need, even dishwasher. Also there is flat tv in each room.
Also free parking and place to put your snowboard for night makes this place very convenient.
Clean, spacious, had all facilities we needed as well as additional luxury facilities including 2 game rooms, a garage, a very big living room/couch area, a nice sunny back patio/deck with a hot tub, lounge chairs, and a grill! We had the bet time and will be coming back next year! Not to mention that this house was across the street from the bike park! We couldn’t ask for a better location!!!
Convinient location. This time we were without a car. 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. 10 minutes walk to the main funicular Szczyrk Gondola - Hala Skrzyczenska. There is also a grocery store nearby. You can quickly get to any ski lift using the free ski bus. Breakfast is wonderful, full of proteins, fats and carbohydrates - just what you need to start an active day.
All perfect, staff is very responsive and friendly. An extra breakfast - huge portion of tasty local delicacies for more than fair price. Spa is small but fine for the skiers. Apartments clean and comfy, quite big. Main gondola in 6 min by car or 10 min by bus nearby, but smaller slopes center is much closer. Recommend
The apartament was spacious, clean, with comfortable beds and sheets, well equipped kitchenette, and close to everything in town. We were pleasantly surprised at the level of housing we received for the price, given we were visiting in the vacation season. Will recommend and look to stay here again in the future.
Everything is superlative: the rooms, the restaurant, the location. But especially the hosts who make you feel at home. A beautiful thought, the most beautiful possible, for Aleksandra who helped us as a sister in difficult times. We will gladly return to Szczyrk.
Almost perfect stay at Apartamenty Novy Szczyrk. Fantastic and spacious apartment, very nice balcony, great breakfast supported by very friendly staff, perfect wheather, very nice area. Interesting way of opening the parking garage door (by phone).

The hotel is very well designed, well-equipped rooms, easy access to the underground garage. The children's playroom is large with plenty of play equipment. The service is very nice and helpful.
The house was clean and cozy. The location was great to go skiing at Szczyrk. Sauna was prepared nicely by the owner every for us every day. We really enjoyed our stay here!
It is close to the bus station and getting free bus to the main resort is easy. Hotel has sauna available for all guests as well as place to dry your skies and snowboards.
