Very nice and friendly welcome. Room was roomy and comfortable. Water gratis. Undoubtedly, the location was unbeatable and, as a solo traveller...or any traveller(s)...arriving in the dark, it is necessary to have somewhere safe, reliable and accessible.
Bus stop into Poznan railway/bus station (no 159) is close by, other side of plexiglass just across from hotel (no cash, use credit card on reader).
Hotel 500 provides ideal accommodation for travellers on the national Poznan - Berlin route number 92. It is 20 km from the nearest A2 motorway (E30 route) leading from East to West of Europe.
Hotel Solei is located in a tranquil part of Poznań, just 950 metres from the clean and beautiful Strzeszyńskie Lake. The surroundings are perfect for hiking and bicycle rides.

Lovely location, very clean tidy and close to the airport.
Lovely location, very clean tidy and close to the airport. There was plenty of shops restaurants and local facilities. It was central to lots of castles palaces, and churches, not the city or the countryside but both close by, l suppose you can say in the suburbs lovely. Ideal for travelling within Poland to bigger tourist trips Krakow Warsaw and Auschwitz, by train, coach or driving, even thought they are miles away.
We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Edison. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was exceptional with a big variety of food. Restaurant available for lunch and dinner with great food and wine (also possibility to order food to the room). Parking space big enough also for bigger cars (vans), close to race track (Tor Poznan).
Nice neighbourhood, the hotel area has lots of trees and a lake. There was a security guard actively checking on the parked cars and the parking is very well illuminated, this is welcome considering its close to a racetrack and some expensive cars standing around. Small shopping centre just a short walk away.
The hotel is located only a few minutes away from the airport, which makes it perfect for early/late flights. There is free on-site parking available in front/at the back of the property. The rooms were spacious and clean. Wi-Fi worked well and the breakfast offered a good selection of cold and hot produce.
We enjoyed our stay, rooms were comfortable and clean, exceptionally large beds were a nice surprise. Breakfast was great with lot of variety. Stuff was very nice. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was great, the only minus was a bit long waiting period.
Hotel has it's own winery, they sell a very pleasant white wine from grapes hand picked by the staff working in the restaurant. Amazing breakfast, friendly atmosphere, nice surrounding.
