The lodge is on the quiet side of the Tourism (loop) road. Not quite developed but you can easily get a tuk tuk (est 10min) to get to the main attraction.
I like that i can immediately wind down when I come back to the room as it's away from the party scene. There is a nice coffee place (working space), some local cafes and shops within walking distance. 5 min walk to the sunset bridge and a small/quiet beach.

I like the location how its situated not in the smack of the other establishments. It's peaceful and has a vibe neighborhood. I also like the resort interior vibe and its rooms is huge for 3-4 person actually. Local coffee nearbyu is a plus too if you crave something for coffee and pastries.

This was perfect for my partner and I. We were up the road from the hustle and bustle but rented mopeds to keep us connected. The staff at Kaimana organised mopeds and even replaced a wing mirror free of charge after it was broken. This was nice and quiet, shuttle to and from the airport also organised for us.
The rooms were an excellent size with everything we needed. The restaurant downstairs (Roots) is a separate entity but definitely should be visited for local fresh produce served every day. Absolutely loved Kaimana and will definitely book again if we return to Siagao.

I arrived in Siargao by flight from Manila, from the airport to the accommodation I took a van for 40 minutes to the accommodation together with other tourists.
We rented a scooter and went all over the island and the landscapes are beautiful.

It was Dope!!!!💯❗️❤️❤️❤️. The Ocean view.. the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful view was on point. The open Kitchen excellent. The caretakers were very friendly and polite and very helpful. Stay jumpstarted our month long tour. It set a beautiful precedent that was set and upped our expectations for El Nido. The stay was so good that we are now going to see about purchasing property there. The owner was very gracious about letting us use the Villa which is what I wanted. I have nothing but respect and positive feedback for our Stay. We will be looking forward to going there again.

I have been knowing General Luna for more than 12 years and this place unfortunately is getting less and less attractive to me. It has become like a party place and probably it is attractive to those party people.

We were bitten by fleas in the bed and unfortunately we only realized the source on the 3rd day.
This wasn’t even the room they were supposed to reserve for us after we paid half, 6 months in advance, they informed us Sorry, we didn’t keep your room“.
They took responsibility for the fleas and moved us to another room.
They did NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO REFUND US OUR MONEY, not even for the 3 nights, even though we were itching and scratching for another week.
They offered to pay our medical expenses.
Believe me, I would rather pay full price and no fleas.
DON’T GO THERE, ITS NOT WORTH IT.

This is probably what Boracay was 25 years ago. It's got a great laid-back feel to it with hardly any touts and the restaurants are quite rustic but fit in really well and you have a lot to choose from.
The main activity here is surfing but there is a diving option, but the sites aren't up to much.
El Lobo is a family run hostel in the centre of General Luna, making it the perfect location. From the second we arrived at the hostel we were welcomed in to the family with tea and coffee, home cooked meals, delicious pastries for breakfast and recommendations on how to make the most of our trip to Siargao! I couldn’t recommend this hostel enough, we felt so welcomed and the hostel was very tidy. Such a lovely family/Hosts and if I was to return to Siargo, I would 100% stay at El Lobo.
This place was the best priced and most friendly accommodating safe around. We had everything we needed for our week in Siargao. We had a clean kitchen when we needed it, local to the beaches and clean room (they clean every day if you really wanted), AC (that we didn't even need) and they were so helpful in organising transport for us any time we needed. We got a scooter nearby for a reasonable price (less than 300 per day) and really enjoyed our stay on the Island.
I had a lovely stay at Dream Catcher. Simple little room with good ac. The mattress is on the floor but was very comfortable and I had no problem sleeping. The property is beautiful with a big grass lawn and a kitchen area which is great for cooking your own food. The bathrooms were ok, no hot water in the showers but it’s so hot here you don’t need it! Location is good, right in General Luna but tucked away from the main road so it’s not noisy.
The property was very well located in general Luna and we really liked the peaceful and natural vibe of the homestay. We were able to find plenty of restaurants in walking distance or grab a tricycle easily. The staff was excellent, they assisted us with every inquiry. Especially Leonardita was a great host, she booked our airport transfer, booked a trip for us and gave us a scooter to rent. We will definitely come again!
Location is primary reason why we pick Shat's guest house. It is situated along Gen Luna which is the happening place in Siargao.
Reception is rustic kind of vibe so dont be fooled by its facade.
Room- The attic room is on the 2F where we stay is clean and comfortable , functioning AC, open cabinet and fan. Good for 4 people. The terrace is nice spot to hangout.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped to arrange all needed transfers, motorbikes rent, laundry and generally provided all info needed.
There is a small communal kitchen that everyone is able to use, which is great.
I booked this for my parents’ for my mom’s 50th bday and she celebrated it in Siargao. This place did not disappoint. They felt welcomed and at home for the rest of their stay and the owner was kind enough to suprise my mom with a birthday treat. My parents are a bit old but everything was so easy for them as the property was accessible to everything.
There are many hostels in Siargao, but Alegreya is the only one that feels like home. As soon as you set foot inside, they welcome you like family. Clean rooms, beds, towels, toilet. You can also cook if you want to, free coffee, wifi connection is good. I got sick on my 2nd to the last night and Nette (owner) took care of me and gave me meds. 🥹

The location was also ideal for us, only a 2 minute scooter ride from the busy stretch on tourist road towards General Luna.
The house we booked was very big, so it was a very comfortable size for the 3 of us.

The property is along General Luna’s main road. It is also a few steps to the beach. The facilities (restaurant, massage etc) were really nice especially because Siargao can get rainy sometimes so there is an option to enjoy on the property itself. The houses were also very cute and comfortable.
I haven’t seen someone so accommodating than Max and his partner. I wasn’t able to booked my local trips before arriving in Siargao but Max made the arrangements like my island hopping trips, land tours and made multiple suggestions on where to hang out on my downtime.
Jay, the staff that manages the places, is very responsive and helpful 👍🏻 He has many contacts on the island and will ease your journey in Siargao... You will seldom find a helpful guy like him in here 👏

The setting was gorgeous, very nice huts and beautiful gardens around. Staff is very friendly and they prepared us nice breakfast everyday accommodating our diet. 7 mins only to General Luna in Tricycle or motorbike out, perfect for a relaxing stay.
Great atmosphere and beautiful rooms. Very spacious and modern. Location is great in between General Luna and cloud 9. You can rent scooters from the hotel. Also at the hostel you have delicious food where we ate many meals. Staff is great!
