The resort is perfect! Is in a street more quiet than the main one so is really relaxing stay here! The staff is the best one ever! Always smiling and always happy to help you! Rooms are really nice and the place offer you a daily washing of the room and change of towels! The swimming pool is a really good place for have some relax but also the sofa beds in the restaurant are lovely! If we will come back to Siargao we’ll for sure book again this place! Was fantastic! The lodge is close to where boats take off for surfing. Also you get discount in the surf shop where you can rent boards or scooter.
The owner Tim and the staff are super nice and helpful. We highly recommend.
We also appreciated that this is not a party hostel, as we like to sleep early. If you feel like going out, there is plenty of options in walking distance, like sunset bridge or Mad Monkeys.

The owners, staff and dogs were extremely friendly and helpful. It is a small but warm and welcoming hotel, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate to our needs. The hotel is located in a quiet area away from the party noise in town but can be easily reached with Tuk tuks - getting around is not a problem at all. Very good choice of homemade all day breakfast was offered. We enjoyed chill time sitting outside our rooms to eat or read. Water pressure was good in the shower and the room was very clean and spacious. Power supply can be intermittent in Siargao and the hotel has its own backup and solar system to ensure uninterrupted electricity. Overall very happy with the hotel which was the highlight of our visit! Thank you Ralf, Linda and Mich!

Easy to get around on Tuk Tuk or tricycles check prices or get tourist prices especially foreigners.

I arrived in Siargao by flight from Manila, from the airport to the accommodation I took a van for 40 minutes to the accommodation together with other tourists.
We rented a scooter and went all over the island and the landscapes are beautiful.
Places we liked:
- Island Coconut Trees View Deck, Magpopongko Rock Pools and Flats, Maasin Bridge River Swing and Cloud 9 area
- Siargao Island Hopping (Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam Island)

It was Dope!!!!💯❗️❤️❤️❤️. The Ocean view.. the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful view was on point. The open Kitchen excellent. The caretakers were very friendly and polite and very helpful. Stay jumpstarted our month long tour. It set a beautiful precedent that was set and upped our expectations for El Nido. The stay was so good that we are now going to see about purchasing property there. The owner was very gracious about letting us use the Villa which is what I wanted. I have nothing but respect and positive feedback for our Stay. We will be looking forward to going there again.

I have been knowing General Luna for more than 12 years and this place unfortunately is getting less and less attractive to me. It has become like a party place and probably it is attractive to those party people.

General Luna or Reef Beach Hotel is a Fleabag, literally.
We were bitten by fleas in the bed and unfortunately we only realized the source on the 3rd day.
This wasn’t even the room they were supposed to reserve for us after we paid half, 6 months in advance, they informed us Sorry, we didn’t keep your room“.
They took responsibility for the fleas and moved us to another room.
They did NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO REFUND US OUR MONEY, not even for the 3 nights, even though we were itching and scratching for another week.
They offered to pay our medical expenses.
Believe me, I would rather pay full price and no fleas.
DON’T GO THERE, ITS NOT WORTH IT.

The General Luna is a City place of resorts & hotel along...
The General Luna is a City place of resorts & hotel along the ocean. There are lots of eateries or restaurants, souvenirs store along the resorts/hotel you can choose. I think it is a safe place to go vacation & travel to this Siargao Islands & stay in Gen. Luna.
The place is really well kept, and quite close to the Secret Beach. General Luna is also just a motorcycle ride away (we rented a motorcycle for our entire trip). The caretaker, Biboy, is really accommodating and helped us to the best that he can. You can also cook in the homestay, which is nice when you want to just be cheap and eat a homecooked meal.
The room is spacious and clean, everyone was so kind and helpful with quick response times if any questions. It has a lovely garden looking out to the sea with hammocks. Good location in between general luna and cloud 9. Fast WiFi.

Lorena and her staff were very good hosts. The kitchen is available with basic and good supplies to cook whatever you like. Felt very safe. Place was very clean. Location is not on the beach, but very easy to get to General Luna (town).
Location was good wasn’t to far out from general Luna and really close to cloud 9. Great kitchen facilities to use as well as fridge ect! Air con was amazing and beds were comfy and room was spotless on entry! Really enjoyed our stay!
Location to Tourism Road where all the shops / bars / restos are for General Luna, plus not too far from Cloud9 down the road. That's actually about it, sadly.
