It is not my favorite city in the jungle.
It is not my favorite city in the jungle. Not a lot to wander around. People are very kind. I recommend visiting the boiling river but the bride's veil waterfall was a rip-off: too much travel time for something not amazing at all. Food was great everywhere, specially in: Tuyuyo, el Toro Pez and Ukaw. We had breakfast at Manish hotel and it was the worst decision because everything was flavourless and not many options.
Casa Andina is a amazing hotel in the centre of Pucallpa. Staff, facilities, and other things is so amazing. Thanks to Bruno a manager for a unforgettable welcome and for breathtaking good bye lunch. This was by far one of the best experiences I had staying at a Peru property. The staff was overly helpful, they arranged taxis, delivered food to my room and went out of their way to check on me. The location is close enough to town, but was way more quite. I highly recommend it.
