We went on a road trip to salalah and decided to pick a hotel/room once we cross the border. The first night we stayed another property which was a disaster.
then seeing reviews we booked this property. Like everyone else both Mohammed's were excellent and helpful. The rooms were clean and all amenities were clean and in working condition.
I would for sure recommend them to anyone going to Salalah.

An absolutely wonderful stay at Koofan Heritage Lodge. Right from the warm welcome we received by Mr Suhebur Rahman to all the comforts of our short stay, we felt at home. The property is restored beautifully and gives an authentic experience of staying in a traditional Omani house. It is a museum in itself. Every corner of the entire lodge has elements of the old days and it takes you back to the past. Rooms were clean with traditional wooden furniture and comfortable bed & linen. Special mention to the frankincense lit in many places, the best room freshener ever. There’s a cafe with tea/coffee and desserts. Couple of nearby restaurants serve good food so lunch/dinner would be a few mins walk from the lodge. Very peaceful stay. Would surely come back again.

We loved Salalah a lot during winter with its mild and misty climate. Salalah is full of greenery, with its green mountains, hills and valleys. It is hard to believe the presence of such a gem with its lovely climate in the Gulf region.
We stayed at Salalah Rotana Resort, which was very clean, quiet and well maintained. The room was spacious with an ocean view. When we arrived, we were met at the reception by Ann who is pleasant lady, very friendly and helpful.
We had food at Saffron and Sik Road restaurants, which was very good. The staff there - Ali, Samin, Magi (hopefully I got it correct), Nia, Anil, Arabi, and Anas - were all courteous and helpful. We wish to thank them all.
We had a tour organized by Salalah Adventures with our tour guide Issa Hobes. He is a wonderful person and tour guide. Ain Athom is a must visit. Driving around Salalah was truly an enjoyment.
On the less positive side, taxis are quite overpriced for tourists though!

During Khareef season always carry mosquito/fly repellent & creams.
Make sure your vehicle is sprayed with repellent before you leave the vehicle as insects/flies gets settled inside as soon as you open the door.
