The location and the beach in front are really amazing. The view since the cabin is amazing. I love it. The cabin area was very good.

The property was very clean/tidy, lots of space to move around, the customer service was excellent, location was perfect for us as it wasn’t a noisey area but close enough go the town + shops and the breakfast was delicious and always on time.

We stayed 5 nights at Tutukaka and tried each restaurant there. All within very short walking distances from Oceans Hotel. We went to Matapouri Bay a couple of days and then travelled to Whananaki another day which is a bit of a distance and a metal corrugated road. Definitely take a sun umbrella with you to all the beaches unless you want to fry! There are no trees on the beaches I really think the shops at Tutukaka should hire out beach equipment such as umbrellas etc. There is a lovely deli there and if I was them, I would be offering sandwiches / picnics for beach goers who are staying in the hotel.

We visited in November when there were no crowds. The road in and out was nice and quiet. Beaches empty. We especially enjoyed the local Anglers club. Beautiful food, good music and friendly staff.

My Wife and I stayed at Tutukaka for our Anniversary.
We enjoyed our stay, it was a hot day and we had a swim in the pool before going to dinner.
The room met our expectations and plan to return again in the future and maybe bring our kids with us next time.

A beautiful, scenic and interesting rural area.
A beautiful, scenic and interesting rural area. Lovely views of the countryside, the ocean, small bays and the coast. Some nice places to park and take a walk. Highly recommended for those who want to "get away from it all", enjoy a weekend with the kids or a "romantic getaway". Only negative point, (based on my own personal experience) is the lack of quality, reasonably priced accommodation. I stayed at " Pacific Rendezvous Resort" and, (see my review on booking.com) was somewhat disappointed. Further disappointed by the content of the response to my review, (also viewable on booking.com). I'll search for a different place to stay when i next have the chance to visit and would recommend others to choose their accommodation with care so as to ensure that the enjoyment of a trip to such a lovely part of the country is not spoiled. TIP: Shop enroute prior to arrival if "self-catering".

My fit mum 88yrs, my older sister and myself all retired, decided to travel top of north island over the month of May 2022. It was relaxing to stay at Pacific Rendezous due to the many days travelling. We did everything we wanted. Lovely memory’s made while we could.
We walk over to whale bay, Rendezous tracks, day out in Whangarei, waterfalls walks, spa.

Lovely on first impressions but the 3 dinner options were tired.
Anglers club had fried food: pizza place friendly - should have gone to Schnapper Rock
Tutukaka's shops were upmarket and one can walk everywhere.
Hoping that this lovely place will spring into life agin once COVID has gone.
We had the less beautiful view this visit (our choice) but the room was just as spacious, comfortable and well laid out as our last visit in 2022. Bed was lovely, shower great, lovely choice of shampoo, conditioner etc. Easy access to rooms and the availability of an on site cafe/restaurant was a lovely bonus - nothing like sitting in the morning sun with a great coffee and a muffin !
The location is superb and gives great access and the location means you can easily walk to 3 different restaurants if you dont want ot eat at the hotel.
THE most stunning views! views from the bed and verandah area. we were in unit 7.
the staff were very accomodating as I am on crutches, so made sure the room was going to be ok with the stairs.
swimming pool, spa and private spa. access to beaches, then is court and playground for kids, bbq areas.
super short drive to tutukaka marina for a few restaurants.
would love to come back with a bunch of mates and their kids.
The views are absolutely stunning. Even though we were in a storm and the power cut out for a few hours, the hotel staff still managed to accommodate us with torchlight and there were bbq facilities available for cooking.
With views like these, who cares about power lol
closeness to beach and only a very short drive to Tutukaka itself. Beautiful gardens below where owner lives. Nice to have owner close by, Anne was very helpful. Loved having a washing machine and drier.
