The location was beautiful. The pond looked lovely no matter what the weather was doing. You could sit and stare at it for hours. Being a close walk to the beach & restaurants was ideal. Bed was comfortable and nice bedding too.

Beautiful beachfront view and access to a lovely beach to walk along. Warm and comfy with great lighting and good quality linen on the bed.
Had everything we needed plus walking distance to cafes and restaurants for dinner if you didn’t want to cook.
We loved the north end of the beach, tata. Lovely and sheltered, and very safe for kids to swim or play on rocks.
Very friendly golden bay kayak company, to hire kayaks for a morning. Takaka was also a lovely town to walk around, good food, coffee, gifts and a market was on Saturday. Other than this, our time was too short in the area.
