Everything was beautiful, the space was lovely, the snacks and Breakfast was more than sufficient, the bedding was extremely comfortable, the spa pool was wonderful, and the hosts were very kind and went out of their way to be helpful. Great beach, especially for catching some waves, boogie...
Great beach, especially for catching some waves, boogie boarding or kite-surfing. It has beautiful views with clear water beaches and excellent for surf fishing! In 10 minutes, you're at the marina where you can have something at Land and Sea Cafe-Bar-Eatery! There's a grocery store and you can get gas as well. Family friendly neighborhood as well. It comes with a local convenient store too! This is the place to come if you love collecting sea shells!

We found the local stretch of beach at Ruakaka a pleasure to walk and fossick for shells and stones. We dined at the Ruakaka Pub which has the best pizza we have ever had, (will definitely dine there again as well as the Porthouse Bar and Eatery. Everything was within close proximity to where we were staying.

My friend and I dined at The Cove at Waipu Cove, food, service and view were all fab. Lovely beach walks for some much needed time away from home for a small re-charge!
Ruakaka is not a busy hub of vibrant activity, for some downtime, quiet and stunning walks this is the place to be.
